Angel Experiences?

I was watching this video about angels earlier (link below) and was wondering if anyone here has ever seen angels and had these supernatural experiences talked about in the video? I am very much interested in cooperating with my fellow servants of God and having His will be done to the fullest extent possible in this life He has given me and would love to hear about anyone's experiences in this area!

There is no doubt that angels do exist. The Bible makes that plainly clear.

Can we get in contact with angels? Well, I must begin by admitting I did not watch that video (it takes too long).

Yes, angels can appear to us. However, that has never happened to me, and I have never heard any first-hand stories of appearances of angels — only second-hand stories, and you never know how those may have been altered meanwhile or even fabricated. Therefore, I doubt that such phenomena would occur often.

As such, my personal opinion is that you should not worry too much about that. Focus on living for God!

Yes, when I was 15, my guardian angel appeared to me. Looking at my life within this context, I realise that my guardian angel has always been watching over me. Certain events in my early childhood ordinarily would have led me down a darker path, but instead I have been protected from evil. I don't exactly know why he protected me but I think it might be because of an earlier faith I placed in Jesus which could not be brought to fruition.

So, at 15 I was in a desperate state where I felt I was travelling through life alone, where things has happened to me and I felt I had been abandoned. I was always surrounded by people but I stood apart.

One day - it was at night in the local woods - I felt I was near the end of my life - and I cried out aloud. I threw my hands up in the air - I don't know why. Looking back, my spirit was surrendering to God, although I didn't know it at the time. Then a bright light shone down from the sky and my body was flooded with warmth. I felt somebody hold my whole body and I was at total peace. I had never felt so peaceful. And I heard a confident, soft male voice say "Follow Jesus." The voice was not in my head. It was my guardian angel who appeared to me in the form of light, speech and touch. I didn't see his body, nor his face, but I knew he was real. He had come down from Heaven for a brief moment to help me in my hour of need.

On the next Sunday, I went to my local church on an 'ordinary' day and gave my life to Jesus. I felt a heaviness lifted off my soul. I couldn't stop myself from weeping as I knew I had now received a new life in Christ.

My guardian angel continued to guard over me. Once I sensed the presence of evil and it frightened me - I tried living life in my own strength. Jesus is so gracious because he employs my guardian angel to protect me, to step into the gap at times when I fail to listen to Jesus.

Wow, what a beautiful testimony! The word of God tells us that He will send His angels to guard us so that we might not dash our foot against a stone. We are not to worship angels, as they are fellow servants of the Lord, just like us, but He does send them to protect and watch over us and sometimes it is given that they should appear to us, to help us and strengthen us. When Jesus had spent those 40 days in the desert, it was angels that came and strengthened Him at the end of His temptations. I'm thankful for the way the Lord has worked in your life to show you His love, strength, mercy, and grace through these experiences, and thank you so much for sharing, God bless you!

We are not to worship angels, as they are fellow servants of the Lord, just like us, but He does send them to protect and watch over us and sometimes it is given that they should appear to us, to help us and strengthen us. When Jesus had spent those 40 days in the desert, it was angels that came and strengthened Him at the end of His temptations. My Forty Days in the desert lasted about 6 years. At about the age of 9, a group of Gideons came into our School Assembly one day and spoke to us about Jesus. At the end of the Assembly we were each given a small red pocket New Testament to keep. It was my first book and I read it cover to cover in about two days. I was amazed and fascinated by this heroic person called Jesus and his group of disciples. It seemed so logical to me that Jesus was the Son of God that I prayed the Sinners Prayer at the back of the New Testament in the privacy and quiet of my bedroom. I gladly accepted Jesus into my heart as my Lord and Saviour. For a while I basked in God's glory, carefully living a new life as written down in the New Testament.

However, my family did not go to church and the Gideons didn't follow up on their first visit. I could not develop my faith and I felt abandoned and betrayed by these Christians. Apart from Christmas And Easter, I spent the next 6 years lost in the desert. That is, until my guardian angel appeared.

For a long time I wondered how my life would have turned out if only those Gideons had returned, if only someone from the Church invited me to their Church and guided me along the Christian path.
