was Jesus afraid to be hated ,was Jesus afraid to offend.
did Jesus tell anyone ,'it's o.k. to live as you please aslong as it doesn't hurt anyone'.
no Jesus did not live like that ,He spoke the real unedited ,uncut version of the word of God.
He came to save out of pure love and wasn't concerned with upseting people and seeming unloving.
for He was love in every way ,He spoke of the wrath of God and how many would be left wailing and gnashing of teeth.
He told them to their faces that they were children of satan.
He overthrew tables and chairs and cast them out of the temple.
He spoke the word of God like no other and many followed and believed and many also hated Him and sought to kill Him.
but He did exactly what He came to do and was a sacrifice to all those who are willing to accept He went through humiliation pain and torture.
He was pure love ,but was not someone who [bless and do not curse][bless and do not curse][bless and do not curse][bless and do not curse][bless and do not curse] footed around the truth and neither should we.
the world will have us deceived of what love is ,but Christ showed us love better than anyone.
the word of God is love ,the world tries to twist the love of God to mean something to fit in with their beliefs.
there's only one true love and it's not of the world.

amen. Ive lost some friends because of Jesus' name. "Jesus Lover" was a favorite term of one of them, he is correct, but at the same time so ignorant.

I agree, I've had friends leave me because of Jesus' name, but that's alright in my book.

We all know that Jesus said He is the truth. Well I look at it like this. Since God is the truth, and altogether holy, He can't be anything other than the truth. Know what I mean? His truth is so perfect He can't water it down and must explain it as the truth. Being in the flesh like we are, we want to rebel because God's word seems offensive. I'm glad the Word is offensive. We can try to justify our sin as much as we want, but it still doesn't change God's truth, which is perfect and unhindered.
