Acts 20:21 reads , Earnestly testifying BOTH to Jews Greeks a REPENTANCE towards God and Faith towards our Lord Jesus Christ .

So is Paul preaching REPENTANCE ?

Many do believe that Paul is !!

We do know that Paul preached the MYSTERY as written in Rom 16:25 and 26 .

Col 1:25 and 26 says he preached it and IF refuse to learn and teach what it means , you will be A STUNTED believer and will never MATURE as Paul says in Col 1:28 .

Luke , in Acts 2:38 there was the FORGIVENESS OF SINS by water Baptism if there was REPENTANCE .

Do we have to REPENT .to be saved ?

I say no , what say you ??

Best to look up the Greek word ,Greek word , METANOIA or METANEO if you disagree , what say you ?

You do know that CHRIST was water BAPTIZED , why . or did he have anything to REPENT OF ?

A repentance towards Jesus Christ of Nazareth meaning , from unbelief to belief that He is Messiah.
This is the first step when changing one's mind, repentance.
Blessings.

I'm interested in knowing why you think we do not need to repent.

But anyways, Jesus told John the Baptist why he came to him to be baptized:

Mat 3:15 But Jesus answered and said to him, “Permit it to be so now, for thus it is fitting for us to fulfill all righteousness.” Then he allowed Him.

That it was "fitting..to fulfill all righteousness" means it was a technicality that needed to be followed.

This is off topic , But why did Jesus have to be WATER BAPTIZE if he had no SIN ?

But Christ did REPENT , in Gen 6:6 !

Then read Gen 6:7 !

One must repent to belief, Jesus Christ of Nazareth. This is the only way to enter the Kingdom of God. Paul preach the Gospel of the Kingdom of God. So yes he preached repentance. Blessings.

Repent in this context does not mean, repent of sin. It is also good to look at the Hebrew text 'וַיִּנָּ֣חֶם' which means God was sorry/regretted.
So God regretted creating man. God created us to have fellowship with Him, but we were and are so evil and this sorrows God. God of course knew even before He created us we would we would sin, but once we sin, God was sorrowed. So many parents today are so saddened by the lives of their children that they wish they had never had children.

God even cries when a sinner dies and goes to hell, even though the sinner receives what is righteous. Remember, we humans cannot comprehend God, and even in Heaven, when we spent eternity with Him, we will never be able to comprehend Him, because we a creation, He is a Creator, His feelings are far above ours. Hope this helps.

John the Baptist's ministry was to call Israel to repentance in preparation for the coming of Messiah. Baptism did not produce repentance, but was its result. Far more than a mere change of mind or remorse, repentance involves a turning from sin to God (, which results in righteous living.

Jesus did not need to repent of sin, but as the Messiah of Israel He identified thoroughly with the people of Israel. Jesus sought this outward identification with John’s ministry “to fulfill all righteousness”. By identifying Himself with those He came to redeem, Jesus inaugurated His public ministry as the Messiah.

In short, Jesus by baptizing identified with us sinners (but is still without sin). Remember later He took on our sins and became a sin ' For our sake he made him to be sin who knew no sin, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God (2 Corinthians 5:21)

Israel had to REPENT and Acts 3:19 explains why !!

You REPENT , therefore and be REFORMED for your sins to be BLOTTED OUT , so the time of refreshing MAY come from the FACE of the Lord .
This is why we do not have to repent as it CONTRADICTS Eph 2:8 and Rom 10:9 and 1 Tim 1:15 and 16 .

We see in John 1:31 that John was preaching to Israel ONLY and NOT to Gentiles and John came to be manifest to Israel ,mtherefore am I come BAPTIZING with WATER ,

The main reason the Jesus was baptized , was , because all HIGH PRIESTS had to WASH hands and feet before entering and MINISTERING before God and Christ is the HIGH PRIEST forever after the order of Melchisedec , Heb 5:6

And all males will be priest in the MILLENNIAL KINGDOM , as written in Ex 19:6 and in Rev 1:6

No where , is the B O C , called priests .
