There are probably no dishes in Heaven as the Bible does not say those in Heaven (God and those and those around the throne) eat. The rest of us will be on the New Earth not in Heaven which is GOD'S domain. Read Rev 20 & 21.

While i wait for the new earth I will be in heaven. If angels do not eat why do they have manna. Eating is good and enjoyable and comes from God. If eating is Good why would God leave it out of paradise?
Also if Adam ate in paradise God giving him the fruit of every tree but one, why would we not eat? It speaks of lions eating straw so the animals eat but not angels or man and woman?
Of course my views are speculation as are yours.

*sigh* eating is good because it points us to Christ our true sustainer when we no longer "see in a glass darkly" we will have no use of those things which point us to Christ because we will not have spiritual ADHD (or as St Paul put it "who will save me from this body of death") we will be have our whole selves ever turned to God.

We are told in Revelation that there would be the Tree of Life there and we will be eating from it. Even though our bodies will be different, we know that Jesus ate after he was resurrected.
