Ancient Paths

Here is what ADONAI says: "Stand at the crossroads and look; ask about the ancient paths, 'Which one is the good way?' Take it, and you will find rest for your souls. But they said, 'We will not take it.'

STAND...LOOK...and ASK about the ANCIENT PATHS

No, but my people have forgotten me and offer incense to nothings. This causes them to stumble as they walk the ancient paths; they leave the highway to walk on side-trails.

So what do you think the ancient paths are? Just me....

The ancient paths are those set from the begining, how to walk in the ways of HaShem. It is the path which leads to life. King David pleaded with HaShem to make him go in the path of his mitzvot for this was his delight. He calls it a path of righteousness, in tehillim 23.

Moshe told the children that he had set heaven and earth as witnesses against them, for he had told them of the path which leads to life and the path which leads to death and he implored them to choose life!

It is what the ancient Tzadiks referred to as the Straight Path, or Road, I believe I read that somewhere.
