Hi, its been a while since I broached my topic concerning ancient calendar astronomy mentioned in the Bible. Latest is a short video that I’m posting for anyone interested in the subject. It’s about a ’50-year’ festival, akin to our century celebrations, except that it was tied into the old Hebrew religion.
What is missing in the biblical narrative is the actual length of time between these ‘moons and festivals’, so its unlikely that anyone other than a few priest/astronomers understood how the count of moons (lunar months) actually worked. Even in forums where the Bible is discussed, people regularly say that intercalary months are nowhere to be found. They are.
