I would say that the analysis is pretty much correct (and Auntie has the better timeframe) but I really saw it starting when CCC members started in on the definition of Christian debate...this was prior to the "librulls" and IIDB crowd (of which I am a member) but there were many Christians that are 1) conservative in the theological sense and 2) members of this forum that had some serious problems with the proposed definition.

I'm sure we all had a part to play in things...but there were internal issues before this blew wide open.

The problem with what you're doing Auntie is that you are posting things out of context. You jumped up and down and screamed bloody murder when somebody posted a message from Time's wife, but you have no problem doing the same sort of thing yourself. Go read some of your posts in response to that and have a good, long look in the mirror dear.

There is a difference between quoting someone's own words (said in public) and spreading gossip about another's marital life.

Nope. Not at all Belinda. What I posted is the typical gossip that goes on at IIDB 24/7. I could post hundreds of posts that basically say the same thing.

Actually, just so ya know, I wish you were correct.

But we have a problem here. A REAL problem here. Which begins and ends at IIDB, and the ones who love to mock the CC members there, and brag about it there, and then come here and bait the CC members.

You and I will have to agree to disagree on that. I don't believe that it was gossip about another's marital life. It was relaying a message for a wounded wife who was afraid to post herself. But let's not get into that again.

I've seen Jesus do both when it came to serious damage & issues to the faith.... so I don't truly know which He might do in this case.
I truly don't. I doubt He finds it pleasing to have people posting hate posts in one area then coming here to be friendly or try to bait....

And this is why there can't be forgiveness. Those that have committed wrongs don't want to acknowledge that they've done wrong.

I agree, but we do have a choice in how we respond. Baiting can be dealt with through reports, so can a lot of these other problems by the rules in place. If we want this forum healthy again we need to start ignoring and even using the ignore feature if needed, but this must stop somewhere or there will not be a forum left to fight over and isnt that really the goal of anyone that comes in to stir things up? If it is then everyone who responds in kind and keeps it going is letting them win.
