  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

So people who don't believe in god, but are nice to other people, believe in god?

I believe that what he is getting at is that his view of God does not make belief a requirement in finding a path to what he considers the essence of God, love. That love is the important piece that is what God truly desires and that the incidentals of "faith" and "religion" are simply paths to try to achieve that awareness.

What do you believe happens if a people never hears the gospel in their entire life?
I will address your question with a different Christian response.

The Bible does not address those that never reached the age of maturity, other than what David suggested about his young dead son being around for him to see later, presumably in heaven.

As far as mature adults that never heard about Jesus: they have a “law written on the hearts” and will be judged by that law. There are lots of people that did not know about Christ that lived before Christ and we feel they were saved by Christ, so there is nothing to say this did not continue after Christ came to earth.
People are born in a “safe” condition and only need saving after they have knowingly sinned, so if they die in that condition they would go to heaven (again the Bible does not address this directly, but from my understanding of God’s fairness and Love that would be the case).

Before jumping on the idea of killing babies so they can go to heaven, you have to realize these same people did not have the opportunity to fulfill their earthly objective (obtaining and growing Godly type Love) and there is no way to obtain that Love in heaven, so they will only have a lower form of love (A wonderful child’s love for a wonderful parent.)
