My dear sweet child;
I wanted to tell you that I went to the carnival last night
It was the end of the summer season and it is a fun time
Catching up with neighbors about the summer and the community.
Enjoying a hot dog and taking in the sights.
And that is what I wanted to talk to you about. Some of the sights.
I took a look around and saw so many of America's flowers running around
the carnival dressed as if they were about to enter a pole dancing contest.
Exposing more skin than they covered prancing around like shamless
shrine prostitutes.
I can only guess that in part we as grown up men have failed you. Failed you
as fathers and failed you as uncles and as friends. We have failed to tell you that you are worthwhile and that you are beautiful just the way you are. So let me not fail you as a pastor. You are beautiful just the way you are. A modest womman is a a desireable one. The girls that dress this way to draw attention from the boys also draw the same attention from letcherous old men. Tell me is your desire to be lusted after by a 50 year old man with a beer belly? I ask you because you have the same effect on him as that cute 16 year old boy you are throwing yourself at.
Your modesty is a precious thing. If it requires you to dress more provocativly than when you go to bed at night to get the attention of a boy then that boy is not worth your time. Little sister you are growing into a womman each day. And wommen have such a wonderful holy place in G-ds kingdom. Your soft hands and gentle voices will nurture and raise up the next generation. At your knee will our babies learn the words to "Jesus Loves Me" You will support Pastors and Deacons and Elders but you will call them Husband.
I feel compelled to tell you this because I love you. Because Y'shua loves you. G-d has a great plan for your life. To grow into a great womman of G-d. A powerful prayer warrior. A loving wife and a wonderful mom. He has so many plans for you. Please don't miss out on the blessing. Don't you conform to the world! You go stick out like a sore thumb swimming upsteam. It's going to be hard being a virtuious girl but it's going to be worth it!
You have great men and womman of G-d who will help you I promise. And a pastor out there who is praying for you and for all of your contemporaries. Let them know it's ok to be modest. It's ok to be a womman of G-d!
