an ongoing battle

i have an ongoing battle in my head with depression and happiness... and i feel so happy to be in the lord, but i just moved to this huge city (san antonio) and I dont really have any friends here yet except for my boyfriend and it's really bringing me down because i feel lonely when he can't hang out with me and i dont really know what to do..

i just really want the strength to be able to be happy by myself and hopefully meet some really great people to have fellowship with. i also need to find a good college & career class at a church.

Dear Promise..do you have a church family? If you do try doing some volunteer work with the church...it will lift your spirit to be of help to others. This is what i did, it really helped!!!



Father god, I lift up this dear sister

Lord wrap your arms of love around her so she never feels lonely again...Lord bring good christian friends into her life...that will lift her up...God draw her closer to you...that when she is in need of fellowship, that she will feel your presence....comfort her and give her peace...fill her with your joy Lord...so much so that it is overflowing...and people want to know why she is so happy...for your glory Lord...we pray this in jesus name AMEN!!!!
Lord also give her the career classes she is looking for...Lord we thank you that you know how and desire to give good gifts to your children...praise you Lord...AMEN!!!

Thank you, sister. The thing is, I go to church Sundays, Sunday Nights, Tuesday nights, Wednesday nights.... I have developed a way better relationship with the Lord, yet I long for companionship with other people my age which we do not have much of. I know the Lord should fill me entirely, and I feel bad that I still want this companionship.. despite that.
