He did it out of politics. He did it to draw attention away from his brand of pro-life activism, and he did also reply that Planned Parenthood are as bad as the people who murdered people at PP.I believe Huckabee came right out after that guy shot up the women's health center in Colorado and called it terrorism.

He has no credibility.
Huckabee is for the death penalty. He is not pro-life.
This has happened here since this forum started. I rarely see you criticizing members on the right. Why is this? It seems that you believe you are a moderate but you certainly don't post like one....My opposition to the premise of this thread was due to, what I felt was, and agenda-driven way of presenting the data in efforts for people to try to make a point about their political opponents.
Well, arguably. Guns are a lot more difficult to make than alcohol.Which is just as effective as banning alcohol which spurn the prohibition era.
Listen, I am no Huckabee fan, but he did call out the Colorado shooting as terrorism, period.
Two words: 3D printing.Well, arguably. Guns are a lot more difficult to make than alcohol.
Even if you can make a fully functional firearm with a 3D printer (and I seem to recall it's "not that simple") it's still a fact that a. making a still is easier than making a 3D printer, and b. all the 3D printers in the world aren't going to make you ammunition. Two words: 3D printing.
That makes them okay terrorists to you?Because the KKK has done so much in the past 50 years.
Of course. I'm just saying the comparison between drug (including alcohol) and firearm prohibition is not exact, because the manufacturing step of the process is so much more complicated. If it required heavy industry to make cocaine, there'd be a lot less of it around. Sure, there would still be some, but a lot less, is my point.Correct. But, where there is a will (to make money) people tend to find a way.

I would imagine, if guns became illegal in the United States, much of the manufacturing of illegal guns would be carried out in other countries and smuggled into the US, just as illegal drugs are now.
My point stands. Manufacturing a modern firearm, not to mention ammunition to service it, requires a great deal of capital investment, machinery, workshop space, and logistical support. It's not really the sort of thing you can set up in a garage or a hidden jungle laboratory, unlike drug factories.I would imagine, if guns became illegal in the United States, much of the manufacturing of illegal guns would be carried out in other countries and smuggled into the US, just as illegal drugs are now.
A gun ban from this point forward, or are you advocating taking away all the guns from people who already have them?
When you buy a drink, you got pleasure from it. When you buy drugs you get pleasure from them. Why should either of these be illegal? You know, we tried this with prohibition many years ago with alcohol and all that did was allow the criminal element to provide what people wanted and readily were able to get, with money. Same with illegal drugs, all you need is money and if you don't have any, you steal some, to get what you want.
Why do you ignore known terrorist organizations supporting Obama, Hillary and Bernie? That makes them okay terrorists to you?
The Klan is still quite active in the US and even voting for candidates they feel will help their cause. Candidates like Donald Trump.

Why would you ignore known terrorist organizations that are supporting Trump?
See above post #96Which is just as effective as banning alcohol which spurn the prohibition era.
