Brothers and sister: note that the ten commandments written by God Himself is called rubbish. In other words Paul is calling the keeping of the law as rubbish.
Brother let's be frank. You don't want to know. Hebrews speaks of the law being written on our hearts what do you think that is about? God is going to write the law on our hearts after He abolished it? The stupidity in the idea, in the rejection of plain statements.Once again... where in Scripture is the ten commandment law held to Christians while the mosaic law is not? Where is your proof of this fact?
Yes brothers and sisters you heard it right from the horses mouth. The Scripture is rubbish. Use the little blue button taking you back to the post quoting Phil 3:7-11 the comment stems from. We knew all along this was Elder's position. His comments are based on a selected out of context paly on words.Brothers and sister: note that the ten commandments written by God Himself is called rubbish.
So that starting with #! you should have no other God is Rubbish
That we should not make graven images is Rubbish!
That we should not take God's name in vain is rubbish!
You should not kill is rubbish.
I think you get the ugly picture.
No it does not. You can not show it does.Brother let's be frank. You don't want to know. Hebrews speaks of the law being written on our hearts what do you think that is about? Keeps me in stiches. Every one needs to laugh. It promotes good health.Just wait till you see their gymnastics to both explain away obligation to but the 10 and at the same time bind people to dietary laws.
Not killing is rubbish compared to not even hating someone.Brothers and sister: note that the ten commandments written by God Himself is called rubbish.

The proof of the "law written upon the heart" that it is NOT the 10 commandments is evident by the masses of Christians who have rejected keeping the Sabbath. One would have to consider that 99% of Christians are NOT Christians because they don't have the "right commandments" written at all. Let's face it the Sabbath is too complicated of a commandment to "write" it on the heart.Brother let's be frank. You don't want to know. Interesting that you want to used love to eradicate the ten commandments while Paul verifies that the same love is established by the Ten commandments. Who is wrong you or Paul? Not killing is rubbish compared to not even hating someone.
No taking God's name in vain is rubbish compared to loving the Lord.
Not comitting adultery is rubbish compared to not even thinking about lusting after others spouses. Let's face it the 10 commandments is far inferior to the two greatest commandments given to Christians why do you wish for people to go back to what one could equate as stone age believism.
There is no rejection of the Sabbath in scripture. The fact that the majority of the world does not follow God mean that there is no God? After Jesus Himself said that few will walk in the way of salvation? not so smart a conclusion! The proof of the "law written upon the heart" that it is NOT the 10 commandments is evident by the masses of Christians who have rejected keeping the Sabbath. You have a big problem. For all of salvation is of the Jews. If you want nothing that was given to the Jews you have nothing of God. I can show that with many scriptures but here are a few.I would love to know actually.
Here are the problems with citing Hebrews 10:16:
1) It is a reference to Jeremiah 31:33, which explicitly says it is part of the covenant with Israel. I am not part of the nation of Israel and have no place in that particular covenant..
Be honest with God's word and pray for the Holy Spirit to reveal it. It is very obvious that those things that are called a shadow of things to come referred to those things that prefigured the coming and the death of Christ. The book of Hebrews also speaks plainly of the sanctuary and the High priest being replaced by Jesus and His Heavenly ministry in the true tabernacle "which the Lord pitched" and not man. Obviously that which is mentioned later in chapter 10 is not the same as that mentioned in verse 1 all of this is clear to all who seek truth. Every angle is work to deny God's Holy law at the expense of the true understanding of scripture but indeed that is not new. The Jews went so far as to kill the saviour. How far are we going to go?2) The very first verse in that chapter is:
For since the law has but a shadow of the good things to come instead of the true form of these realities, it can never, by the same sacrifices that are continually offered every year, make perfect those who draw near. - Hebrews 10:1.
By God's grace I will post a separate post to show again not only that the ten are separate from the rest but how important God regards it and why it can not be ignore by Christians.3) This speaks absolutely nothing to the ten commandments. You have already admitted that we are not bound to the entire Mosaic Law, but only the ten commandments. I am waiting for anything in Scripture which separates the two and suggests that Christians are bound to the entirety of the ten commandments..
Brother a play of words and terms. Other say abolish you say fulfill but you all mean that it is not for Christians to keep. Jesus said that heaven and earth will have to pass for the law to be removed. It still here.4) Absolutely nobody has suggested the law has been abolished. It has been fulfilled.
After admitting your opinion is in error, have you considered where else you may be in error?
You still haven't addressed the content of my post.
Walking in the way of the law is not walking in the way of salvation. There is no rejection of the Sabbath in scripture. Walking in the way of the law is not walking in the way of salvation.
Why do you not understand we will not trade our salvation available only as a free gift for a works effort that is guaranteed to bring failure? You have a big problem. For all of salvation is of the Jews. If you want nothing that was given to the Jews you have nothing of God. I can show that with many scriptures but here are a few.
John 422 Ye worship ye know not what: we know what we worship: for salvation is of the Jews.
Romans 9:
4 Who are Israelites; to whom pertaineth the adoption, and the glory, and the covenants, and the giving of the law, and the service of God, and the promises;
5 Whose are the fathers, and of whom as concerning the flesh Christ came, who is over all, God blessed for ever. Amen.
Looks like everything pertaining to salvation was given to the Jews even the two covenants. What do you expect to have when you discard things because there are of the Jews? Nothing!!!!!!
Then we should not be christians

Mat 5:19 Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.
Please quote anyone of us saying or remotely implying the law is bad or evil. If you can not you are bearing false witness. Remember there are 10 commandments on those stones. The only people here making these kinds of statements are the pro law people. For the spiritually dead and unlearned the Law is bad but to those who are born of God the Law is godly love. When Cain murdered his brother he violated the principle of godly love and God called it sin even without the Law on stone. Not only did God call it sin, Cain was convicted and condemned because he sinned.
Let me tell you the trick of Satan. Satan can take what God says is bad and make it look good. God told Adam and Eve not to eat of the fruit because it would be bad. Satan turns that around and makes the fruit look good and God look bad for saying something is bad when it's really good.
God says the Law is holy, just and good but you say the Law is bad. Now who told you that? It wasn't God because He does not change. He does not say it's bad to worship other gods and then turn around and say it's okay to worship other gods. He does not say it's bad to dishonor your parents but then He turns around and says you can dishonor your parents if you want. He does not bless and sanctify the seventh day and protect it with His Law and then say it's now a normal work day.
The Law is the principle of love. To say the Law is bad you are saying love is bad and when you say love is bad you are saying God is bad because God is love.
You say the Law kills, Amen! We need the Law to kill that part of us that needs to die so that we can come alive to God. The Law puts to death the old man that is full of pride and self righteousness. The Law on stone does that but the spirit of the Law is not to define sin, but rather, to define godly love.
You cannot say that you love God and man yet violate the principle of godly love defined by the Law.
Those who are born of God spell law like this, L-O-V-E.
Romans 13:8-10 Owe no one anything except to love one another, for he who loves another has fulfilled the law. For the commandments, You shall not commit adultery, You shall not murder, You shall not steal, You shall not bear false witness, You shall not covet, and if there is any other commandment, are all summed up in this saying, namely, You shall love your neighbor as yourself. Love does no harm to a neighbor; therefore love is the fulfillment of the law.
When you love God and man the way God defines love you will look like someone who is keeping the commandments. That includes honoring the fourth commandment.
The same inspired author who wrote "the law is holy, and the commandment holy and just and good" also described it as a death sentence, and also specified the Ten Commandments as the Law we have been delivered from, which held the recipients in the past tense - in the same chapter you extracted your sound bite from (Romans 7).God says the Law is holy, just and good but you say the Law is bad. Now who told you that? It wasn't God because He does not change.
Please quote anyone of us saying or remotely implying the law is bad or evil. If you can not you are bearing false witness. Remember there are 10 commandments on those stones. The only people here making these kinds of statements are the pro law people.
My previous statement still stands according to the Scripture. Looks are very deceiving and appealing. I was told to marry for cooking - not looks.Walking in the way of godly love is the fruit of salvation, not the means to it. God's Law defines love.
If you love God and man the way God defines love you will look like someone who is keeping the commandments.
Why do you continue to preach against love? It is kind of sickening to hear someone who claims the name of God preaching as you do. It's down right unholy and ungodly. The law defines love and God is love so to preach against love is to preach God right out of His creation.
