CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

My answer would be that emotions are evolution derived impulses to steer your behaviour in ways that ensure your survival, social integration, reproductive success and the continuation of your genes. Emotions not to do with these drives tend to be less overpowering - actually I'm struggling to think of any that aren't to do with them, but I expect there are a few. Basically, when you feel emotions you are experiencing the results of evolution in a very direct way.

well we have explained it ad naseum to you. Maybe we can start of with a question about you? Like how nothing exploded and caused everything. Thats a good one to start off with, we too have questions and we have mainly been focusing on trying to help you understand but I am beginning to think you simply want a debate, and thats fine too. So answer the question please and in your own words.

As to the cause of the universe, I don't know. But making up an answer is worse than having no answer.
I also certainly don't believe that a people who lived in the bronze age, got it right.

I have provided how the God of the scriptures mentions prophecy ahead of time. Meaning time is not an element. Other scriptures where God mentions being eternal. And several others (but you will have to go back and read my posts)
