  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I am trying to figure out how your world would be better?

Oh that is simple. I would prevent Muhammad from teaching the misconstrued and plagiarized drivel he taught and stop Christianity and let Gnosticism and Wathaniyya take its place through Europe.

That is about it.

You came under the weight of the law? Have you been free from that burden yet?

That is true. What do you think about all creation being puppets? Do you think it would be obvious they need a hand? LOL

I can watch a rerun of Jeopardy 10[sup]10[/sup] times, until I know exactly how each one is going to answer; and who is going to win, and who blows his nose, etc.

In other words, I can watch it until I'm nearly omniscient on that particular episode, and it is not going to change the fact that they had freewill throughout the program.

Yes my world would have gender. I cant imagine a world where nothing dies. Accidents could alway happen even if people or animals could live forever, so some mechanism should be made to keep the species going.

Good point. So death or accidents have a benefit to our current world?

?? I am referring to your comments about Yahweh being omniscient. My world would not have any such mythology involving serpents and naive children.

My world is grounded in the world we have now and no such thing as vocal serpents exist or ever have.

More uniformitarian thinking.....

I am unclear as to why some people refer to Satan controlling/possessing an animal as "a talking serpent" and to a fully grown and intelligent (Adam named all the animals as well as being able to communicate with them) couple as "children".

It boggles the mind.

My answers arent for "they", my answers are for me. Since I believe God created everything, then my answers will explain that belief of mine.

Should your beliefs be somewhat comparable to the Bible?

My world would have "accepters".

If somebody made a very good case for a claim then the people would accept it. That means that if it was later found to be in error, or more likely somewhat in error, they would not have an artificial attachment to the idea.

For example scientists accept the theory of evolution since the evidence for it is truly massive and the evidence for anything else seems to be nil.

So, with that kind of acceptance, what if Joe blow says he saw a Easter bunny (and let's say he did in your world). Should he accept everyone else's opinions that say there is no Easter bunny.

So basically lying would be acceptable because of a universal acceptance?

So I was wondering if you think everyone that does bad things like burglary, lying, stealing, speeding, drinking themselves senseless, rape, murder, etc. are all children?

Not if you take them on faith.

Else everyone would be asking for DNA evidence from their parents.

Laugh away.

Jesus didn't go there, and He got laughed at.

Luke 8:53a And they laughed him to scorn,

Hgfdcghjjkjgdwasxcvhytewsfhjkpknhg *screamingggg* I just died at this!!!! @AV1611VET you're one hilarious being....my world would have you. LOL

Going by what he said, no Joe Blow wouldnt accept everyone else's opinion on the Easter Bunny because they wouldnt be making a good case since he actually saw it.

A lie could obtain universal acceptance but eventually people would test it and disprove it.

So, no Christians? That sounds familiar to our current worlds future. Who would fund most of the charities? I do know some atheists do give (because they believe to be good) but I am almost positive Muslims and Christians give. Some out of necessity others from the heart.
