I am sure they clean it up a little, but being that her voice is so high in range, and she never goes to her head, and keeps it in her throat, i can see how you wouldn't enjoy it, cause it's a harsher sound...but most bands sound 'dirtier' on stage.Rosa Mystica said:Hi all,
I was wondering: does anyone here know if Amy Lee uses a vocal enhancer in her recording sessions? I have a sinking suspicion that she does. I have viewed a few Evanescence concerts on my local music station, and every time, Amy has done a pitiful job of singing (she seemed more focussed on adding angst to the songs than on vocal technique). I don't know if she's just nervous, or if she just has no talent whatsoever in the singing department.
Thoughts, anyone?
