I have not been posting here much, mostly because I am unsure which thread to frequent the most. I am still getting used to the variety that this board has to offer as I come from a board that at the most only has about fifteen individual forum groups and no where as many members on the boards.
Well, there is a reason why I am posting today. As of late the Lord has allowed me to witness several individuals come to know the Lord, some over the internet, and others in my personal and business life.
One individual that the Lord has blessed me with is Justin. I met him on the way home from work one night near a dark allyway behind a local convenience store. He was smoking, and simply wandering about in the parking lot when we met up. He is the one who initiated the conversation, and to be honest I wanted to avoid the kid afraid for my own safety. I have been jumped before by individuals who were not quite as tough looking as this kid. One thing led to another and I was able to share the gospel with him, and that night he recieved the Lord as his savior. I am now discipling him in the Lord at my church when he is able to make it.
Two other individuals that the Lord saved through the use of me are my two supervisors, Doug and Andrew. I would ask that you would pray for Doug, I am sure that his conversion was real, but he is finding it difficult to get out of his daily routine to find time to grow in Christ. I would ask that you would pray for his sanctification. Also pray for Andrew who recieved the Lord last night (2-17-05) when he gave me a ride home to my dorms.
I would ask that no one "praise" me for the work that has been done here, I am merely a tool that was pulled out of the tool-box, much like a wrench would be used to loosen a bolt I am unable to do anything until the Lord uses me. It is to God that the glory and honor is due.
