on Scott Hahn's Rome Sweet Home reads like almost like a message board and it seems like many posters are inverts and converts. There are a couple of bad reviews given but they mostly critisize it for not being theological enough, but most will admit that the book isn't meant in that way. Then there are a couple of reviews talking about their suspicion and insincerity of the Hahn's, which of course makes you ponder if these posters would be as suspicious of converts from Catholicism rather than the other way around.
I haven't yet been able to read all the reviews, but I'm happy the book is so popular.

I noticed that too, when I read through the reviews a while back. If I was looking for a theological book, it wouldn't have been Rome Sweet Home. I does what it's supposed to and it does it well.

The other thing is that many people hate Catholics calling the Catholic Church "home." From their point of view I can understand it completely. But it doesn't change the truth.
