Dixie Chicks
Who and how did the government bully Amazon into no longer carrying whatever books you are so concerned with? That's why government (who gives business licenses for a business to even exist) can bully businesses into doing its bidding. The largest corporations "just happen" to be going along with whatever the government puts out in their propaganda, and those same businesses just happen to be the ones who are exempt from being closed down during the pandemic.
Yet you're trying to tell us that Dr. Seuss is canceled, with the vast majority of his works being still published and sold.
You're standards for "cancelled" seem to vary widely based on who is being "canceled/doing the canceling".
He did that himself......
All Kapernick did was exercise his First Amendment right of not being required to stand during the National Anthem.
Newton's 3rd law can be appropriately applied here.....yes, even to human actions.....All Kapernick did was exercise his First Amendment right of not being required to stand during the National Anthem.
Free speech is not absolute.
The author of the book in the OP is currently learning that.
So is Kaepernick.
Name something "The Right" cancelled.

"The Right" has attempted to cancel:
Dungeons & Dragons
N.W.A.
Gillette
2 Live Crew
Rap music in general
Heavy Metal in general
The Dixie Chicks
Pepsi
Spike Lee
Janet Jackson
The NFL
NASCAR
Nike
HBO
Pokémon
Teletubbies
Apple
Starbucks
Monster Energy drink
Taylor Swift
Hallmark Network
Bert and Ernie
Spongebob Squarepants
Planned Parenthood
The Beatles
Elvis
Interesting, although there's one glaring problem with that list. All those things are still around, with the exception of Elvis.
RDKirk used the word “attempted.” Should we give a pass for people cancelling things if they suck at it?
