Amazon Prime

Does anyone have Amazon Prime, and have you found it to be worthwhile? I've thought about it, partly from the standpoint of the movies and shows that are available through it.

I have Amazon Prime and I love it for the Free Shipping!! For Thanksgiving time, it's great to get those amazing Black Friday deals starting on Thursday and not have to worry about having a certain amount to build up to to ship my item, you know? I ordered things that were on sale for $5 with free shipping and did it repeatedly throughout both those sale days...so to me it was definitely worth it to have at the time!

I have a Kindle Fire and once a month I do enjoy downloading a free book to read from their list...which is very extensive.

As for the movies, there have been some good ones but I don't watch too many of them. I have my laptop hooked up to my tv and I get really frustrated when the connection or their system lags and my movie stalls.

Thanks! The shipping cost can really add up, so being able to save money in that respect would be good.

And I have a Sony Reader, but it looks like there are a lot more titles available with the Kindle.

As far as the movies go, can they be downloaded or can they only be watched online? I was thinking of getting a new laptop, which has a DVD burner with it, so I thought if I could download the movies and burn them to DVD for later viewing that would good.

They (the movies) can only be streamed, not downloaded.
