Sometimes generous people give blessings and reps, but for the most part people trade now. You also need to go to the threads that say like "rep the three above you" etc. That helps too.

you just need to learn how to beg shamelessly

and just post a lot - even if it's just to say hi (then we have posts to rep)

before you know it you'll have lots of reps too

The free items in the armory are only temporary. They will eventually cost blessings again.
