  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Was happy that the non-famous teams finished 1-3 last night. I have a feeling I'll be rooting for the "underdogs" in this race. Also, have to wonder about a former NFL player talking about how he "protected" someone rather than admit he was in the NFL.

As for the lost passport, this article was in the NY Times this morning. Pretty amazing they were saved that way.

Who would think two weeks in a row the snow boarders would be the ones who read the clues correctly for the win!

I think the question is quickly becoming, can anyone beat them? Pretty crazy that, because of flights, they end up 50 minutes behind the other teams and still come out on top.

I love that Ma and Pa keep hanging in there, nice to see an older couple manage to out compete some of the younger teams.

Last, I really like the way that the non-elimination legs have played out so far this year. I hope they continue making the first week a non-elimination leg and then eliminating two teams the second week; it helps both the teams, in acclimating to the race, and it give us a better chance to really see and know the teams before the first team is eliminated. I also like, after the roadblocks/detours have been very physically challenges, making it a non-elimination leg.

Begin the first to go on any show sucks, but TAR has had some of the worst. There was a season a couple didn't even get their first clue!

Interesting that they only (so far as I can remember) did that once. However, it seems viewers like the teams having a task to complete at the starting line, as they've done the last couple of races, that results in a penalty but not an elimination.
