I would have been ok with the brother's win had it not been for last nights episode. Their less than ethical behavior really angered me. I wanted the cowboys to win for sure, but they just couldn't overcome the brother's headstart due to their jumping the airport que. What a shame. Those cowboys proved that they were a class act all the way. But I'm sooo glad the models didn't win. I just couldn't stand them. However, the one lesbian's reaction to Caite, was uncalled for. She should have let bygones be bygones.
Actually, the brother's didn't gain anything from cutting in front of the cowboys. I'll agree it was stupid and not ethical but it didn't benefit them at all. What did help them is getting the stewardess to let them sit in First Class so that they were able to get off the plane much faster.
Note: They did not cheat by sitting in First Class, the rule only states that you must pay the economy fair and cannot pay to be upgraded. Previous years we have seen contestants who paid the economy price but were upgraded to a higher class (like Business class) because there was no more room in Economy seating.
The other "advantage" was the smart move by the one brother to have recorded all the information about the legs specifically because he knew that would be a challenge.
OTOH, the Cowboys could have handled it better. Threatening to punch the brothers and then, during the LucasArts challenge, trying to give confusing directions was somewhat classless, as well. Not to mention, the Cowboys had a chance but blew it at LucasArts when he didn't twirl to see the message -- even though they had watched while the brothers did it.
Regardless, as I stated last night, the Cowboys were my favorite team and overall showed a great deal of class.
I've heard the lesbians are no longer dating, you could see that Carol was rather embarrassed by Brandy. Brandy showed a lot of immaturity in not being able to get past it. I do think, in fairness, it should be pointed out that for Brandy it has been only a few days since the elimination and not the weeks that it has been since we saw them eliminated. Not to mention, if you have watched the Elimination Station episodes Joe even a couple of weeks later was still holding a grudge against the cops for the U-turn.
Personally, I'm most upset at Amazing Race and Phil for baiting that controversy when it should have remained a celebration for the winners. And I've heard several complaints about how the challenges last night were too easy, especially that the determining factors last night were order off the plane and then a bad taxi driver. I'm not sure I completely accept that, I can understand how something can seem hard while your setting it up but having those doing the tasks complete them easily.
