Against my better judgement, I find my self rooting for the Goths.

And of course, I always root for teams with old people in them, so this time it's the grandpa & grandson, and the old Chinese guy and his daughter.

They're my favorites so far!

Off topic, but is anyone else amazed that they can keep the Gothic look e.g. the makeup and still do the race? What happens if later in the game they are saved from elimination and have to give up their bags (makeup), etc?

I don't think it works that way any more. Now the have a 30 minute penalty.

I actually was a bit sick when I saw there were not only going to be lesbians on the show, but "minister" lesbians. I cannot wait til they're eliminated off the show.
It's interesting to see how tv programs are going further and further into showing things on tv, too.

personally, I think they're posers, thus I'm rooting againist them. Sorry, but that dude looks like a drag queen and there's nothing goth about that. They maybe old metal-hair-band fans or pretty-punk, but they're not gothic and they're a shame to the name.
I think they call themselves "goth" just so they'll stand out and get picked to be on the show...which obviously worked, but that just makes them posers all more.

I'm also rooting againist Jennifer & Nathan, and I don't like Lorena but I can't root againist this Jason fella. I'm afraid that Lorena & Jason are going to be another Flo & Zach team. That dear boy was amazing, indeed! But that had to be the most annoying chick on the show, probably ever! Let's hope Lorena isn't that bad, cause that's just embarassing.

I haven't found a specific team to cheer for just yet, but that usually does take some time to figure out.

I agree. I always root for the old teams too, and the father/daughter team had me almost in tears last night. He kept saying, "I just don't want to disappoint her" and I just about lost it.

Television isn't Christian. Why should they hold to Christian standards in what they put on the air?

My thoughts: I am so happy the show is back!

My husband was surprised that the Goths were dating. He thought they were two women. He also thought Mr. Goth was a Marilyn Manson wannabe (I agree).

Did you see Phil's face in the beginning when the one team was counting their money and holding up all the cars? He's looking at the line of SUVs going...... why aren't they moving??

OH! And that donkey!! If it had brayed one more time, I think I would have bust a gut, I was laughing so hard!!

Why would that make you sick and why did you put "minister" in quotes? I'm not a big fan of lesbians but I'm rooting for them because they're an older team.

And say whatever you want but I can't stand *** hags so I was thrilled with the team that was eliminated.

As far as the Goth's go, I want to smack them both but the gal has got a nice, well, how do I put this...

I don't have any standout favorites right now. The goth dating couple are pretty cool and I like the brother/sister, father/daughter team. Also the hippie and his girlfriend (Rachel and TK). Everyone else I'm indifferent about.
