Interesting that you view the Gospel about something coming in the future and not redemption (salvation) which is restoration of the fellowship man had with God in the garden. Jesus preached that something is current. I think His statement is the NC is in existence. The kingdom of God is another topic.

OK I found this thread again. I've been very busy with life and other threads. When something doesn't appear on the first page I usually don't go looking for it.

One of the things that bugs me about Christianity is the division and even outright hatred exhibited between groups by the people involved in them and not just the actual group's official statements or attitudes. I think these are incited by the leadership and expecially vanity. This vanity thing has made social clubs (snobvilles)out of our churches. It hurts the csause of Christ and gets in the way of leading others to Jesus. So many are busy trying to get others involved in 'their' thing even with the walls of a local assembly. Is this the exhibition of the fruits of the Spirit? Sin stinks. I wonder why we demand others to participate in our beliefs or activities and refuse to participate in theirs.
