I'm very clueless right now, I'm told I'm not a true christian for my beliefs.
here they are

1. I don't believe the bible is 100%
2. I don't believe in the rapture.
3. I believe in Jesus and GOD
4. I believe in ghost
5. I believe in recarntion
6. I don't believe in condeming people
7. I don't believe anyone goes to hell but the truly wicked
8. I believe the only sin is hurting others or yourself
9. I believe animals have souls.
10. I'm starting to prefer girls over boys(and people think I'm doom to hell for that.)
11.I'm a harry Potter fan(most christians think it's anti GOD)
but some christians say my beliefs are so unbibical that I'm not a christian.

Am I truly not a christian?

One of the things I dislike about this site is the constant attempt to label people. Only you and the Lord know whether you're a Christian. In my opinion, if you are a monotheist who believes in the divinity of Jesus and tries to follow him, you're a Christian, but ultimately, it's not my opinion that matters - it's between you and God.

AMEN WELL SAID.

If you have confessed with your heart that Jesus died on the cross for your sins and BELEIVE in HIM only then you are saved my dear friend! :amen:

Am I truly not a christian?

i know that a christian:
  • DOES NOT BELEIVE IN RECARNATION
  • BELEIVES in only Jesus
  • Has a LONGING to be in heaven in their hearts
  • The bible does not condone gays
  • Has a longing to be VERY christlike
  • Wants to read the Bible
MOSTLY CONFESSES WITH THE MOUTH ABOUT JESUS BEING LORD AND SAVIOR! :amen:

Peoples opinons on Harry Potter are just that....opinons. I dont like Harry Potter but as a christian I'm not going to tell you that your going to hell. Only God can judge.
Just because some christians can be so flawed in there thinking doesnt mean that we all are. I'm one that does believe in what the bible says to be 100% true. So if its biblically sound than I support it. But in no way will I judge or condem anyone for there beliefs. Thats between them and God. Not between them and I.

Maybe your liking Harry Potter is because you appreciate the creativity that went into the picture. It doesn't mean that you have to agree with the ideas or context.

And as others have said, your Christianity is between you and God. Nobody else should make you feel like less of a Christian because God is the only one who you should want to please. Live for Him and you are a Christian. And there are many types of Christians in this forum. Neither you nor I are exactly like anyone else here. We are not clones of one another, we simply share an undying love for and yearning to please our Lord and Savior. Remember, God loves you for you.

Bless your heart.

You're a Christian with problems, but a Christian still. NO ONE has any business telling anyone else whether they are a Christian or not. It's even against forum rules to do so. I would recommend you report anyone that tells you you're not a Christian.

Personally, I looked into reincarnation in a good bit of depth cuz the Bible did make an offhanded reference to it. But I decided, for myself anyways, that it doesn't happen. If it did, then how when people have those near-death experiences would they see people they knew that were dead?? Wouldn't they be back on earth in another life? Logic helped me decide on that one. The rest I at least agree with you at least a little bit. I think you need to pray on the liking girls thing, but that doesn't make you not a Christian. You need to figure out who the "real you" is. All that abuse has confused you as to who you are. That's my take anyways...

Thank you, I'm trying to understand christinity. I been clueless because of so many different opinions on GOD.

Most opinons are minute in the long run though. Follow Christ and have an attitude like Him. Believe in his teachings and put them into effect and the rest is going to be a life long learning process with Him.
I mean some people act like when they get saved, that the knowledge is just there. They act like there is no growth or learning process. We all will have questions until the day that we meet Christ in heaven.

I disagree with the Recarnation. WE ONLY transin to the AFTER LIFE which is HEAVEN that is it!...if that is what your saying I see BUT ONCE you die you either go to Heaven or Hell.
AGAIN I can not stress that this is something that you and Jesus need to work out. REMEMBER it is about a personal relationship.

I think she also needs to understand that everyone one of us has problems. None of us are above one another. We all fall short of the glory of god.
Were all equally sinners.

I agree with this statement. It is possible that some of your beliefs and/or preferences have been formed as a result of things that may have happened to you in the past. Devote yourself to your savior and He will help you see clearly. You may or may not find that your opinions will change.

I agree as well. If you look at my life and my ideas when I was first a christian to what I know now, its WAY DIFFERENT. Just reading the bible more and more opens up my eyes to what He really wants from us.
