Almost 22. Any advice?

I'm 21 years old and I've take a couple college courses and I plan on going back this fall but I just don't know if I've gotten confirmation from God on my career path and its caused me to keep procrastinating and even fear going back for a few reasons. I've developed extreme social awkwardness so I'm not sure how I'll do in a new setting even though I want to go finish college and even make friends. Right now I have no friends or family and I'm going through a breakup. It's a rough time and I'm trying to seek God after falling so far away from Him and neglecting our relationship. Any encouragement, advice, scriptures I'd really appreciate it.

Wow man sounds like a rough patch for sure. I'll keep you in my prayers.

I had a bit of a rough time too and only now, at 33, figured out what I'm meant to be doing. Don't give up easily and stay focused. You can reach your goals, but failure is never really failure. Keep growing and learning. This may be the perfect time to focus on getting yourself right before meeting a special someone.

Hey- you're definitely not alone. Most of us don't know what we're doing I'm 27 and still trying to figure out where God is calling me to be. I've had 3 different majors and 5 different career paths so far.

It can feel overwhelming and like you're lost and alone for sure, but knowing most everyone is feeling this way helps me. And if we don't see our situation as unusual and dire then we can take more pleasure in the journey instead of trying to get our immediate answers.

Community is important too. Online community is great to help us still have a "family" even while we're retreating from the world to lick our wounds. Then of course a church community would be even better.

Be encouraged- this is just a chapter in your story leading you to who knows what! Weeping may endure for a night but joy comes in the morning!

Thank you I really needed to hear these things! I think I have been seeing my situation as dire instead of enjoying and living out what God has planned for my life. Thank you and God bless you
