“C”
Age: 53
Build: Thin
Appearance:
C, is a tall man, handsome and well built, however he is always in a chair, a primitive version of a wheelchair. He dresses in simple, comfortable clothing, of good material. Biography:
The man known now as C came about in a dangerous fashion, he was born to a high ranking Perian nobleman, a new legendary man by the name of Philip von Hannon and an elven war maiden. He reached his legend by being one of the first explorers of the Calkai Mnts and spear heading an invasion deep into Anserak, which rescued the current Emperor of Peria’s bride from her then abductors. At the end of his life his land reached through almost Peria’s entire western border. His title was “Lord d’ Chamberlayne”.
The man had two children, the first he gave his name, the second he gave his nature.
The first son, Philip von Hannon, was a clever talker, a handsome face and a brilliant man. However he was a villain, it was not long after his father’s death that his reputation as a rogue began, his father’s fortune was limitless, but he spent wantonly, his father’s reputation was great but he dashed it with affairs with many women.
Philip’s younger brother, Alexander, hated the way his brother lived. He was heroic, but innocent, clever, but not used to the world. Sick of his brothers madness he left and entered the army without his officers position
It was in the army that he made his fortune, his skill hardened him. War sharpened him, fate taught him. Eventually he left the army, serving as a mercenary and ranger for a while, however, he found his fortune easily made in Vareisia, more specifically, Zlith.
He served as a mercenary for their assassin’s guild there and eventually was accepted into it.
He left the city of Zlith and became a member of the Sal Kaddedin Guild, where he learned espionage.
On a mission for intelligence he was caught, and put through a torturous regime. The result left his body broken, however, it sharpened his mind.
He returned to Peria, he had long served them as Allan Chambers, and for his skill he was knighted, when the emperor discovered how he was damaged in the service of the country he was given a small duchy, and a high rank in his court.
C, hates his titles, referring to himself by his latter initial. If some one wishes for him to listen they may also refer to him as Control, which is his technical name in the Sal Kaddedin spy games and Zlithian assassins. Never address him by his noble status.
He knows his brother, who is a leading nobleman in Peria, and fantastically rich, yet still as rakish as ever. However, while his brother knows of his true identity no others do and even Lord Chamberlayne does not wish to face his brother’s assassin connections.
Weapons and Abilities:
C was once a very well trained fighter and assassin; however, his torture left him nearly paralyzed. His knowledge, however, has only grown. A master of poisons, warfare and politics, few can match his great brains rapid responses, and none can match his great network of spies and assassins.
He has a sword in his cane, and his reflexes are still faster than many, while he can only wield the slim blade from a sitting position.
