Then which verses are reliable? The ones that say God is unchanging, unrepenting, and unlying? Or the ones that say God changes, repents, and lies?I haven't looked up the verses you mentioned, but the OT is man's best INSPIRED attempt at understanding God's relationship with and revelation to man. If inconsistencies do occur, that would be on account of man's understanding of God, which do not reflect God's actual qualities and essence.
Wiccans worship nature, and posit two deities, a God and Goddess, who are representative of various aspects of nature (the Sun and Moon, the hunt and the harvest, fertility, etc).BTW, Does Wicca posit One Supreme Being like the American Indian's Wankan Tanka--ie., Great Spirit--or does its beliefs only involve elemental powers in nature? :curious:
Some Wiccans do believe in a single deity, from whom come the God and Goddess, akin to the Native Americans' Great Spirit or some Hindus' Brahman, but this is rare.
