Ok. Prolly got your attention here. Ok. Trace back when it was the jews around. I dont know the details, but this is biblical. Somewhere along the line the jews get split up and the arabs came to be. So the arabs would keep the same jaweh. So... they develope their own lil life style... So since the Jewish's God is our God, would that make the Allah the same?

Well in theory they may see their God as the same as our Father God.
But the Arabs are after the line of Ishmael, and God told Abraham he ( Ishmael) was not the promised son, that Isaac was.
Abrahams fleshly line was to go thru Isaac and Gods people would go thru Jacob, Israel.

Either way I suppose it doesnt matter because without the Son, you dont know the Father either and they dont accept Jesus.

The God of Ishmael is the same as the God of Jacob, which is the God of Abraham.

Neither the Jewish god nor the god of Islam is the same as the Christian God. What might be surprising is that the god that the jews worship is not hte god of Abraham. If it were so then they would of accepted Jesus.

But even if we did not hve Jesus' words to back up the statement that Christians, Jews, and Muslims do not worship the same God it is still obvious that they are not. The God of the Bible, the god of the jews, and the god of the Muslims can't be the same God because the views about htem contradict each other.

Different Christian churches also have different views about the nature and actions of God.

But the different churches do not go outside the realm of orthodoxy. Islam and Judaism are not just different churches or denominations. They are different religions that worship a different god. See I can say to an Orthodox brother that we are all part of the one church because we agree on the essentials. We can disagree about exactly what part does tradition play in Christianity but we both believe that Jesus is God.

There is not, “their God” or “this person’s God” etc... there is “The God; the one and only God.” The only way to God and the only way to KNOW God, is through Jesus Christ who is our mediator. Therefore, unless you know personally Jesus Christ, you cannot know God. So yes, though it sounds a bit bad I’ll say it seeing as how this is a Christian forum: The Jewish and Islamic god are not the true God, if they were, then they would personally know Jesus Christ. Take Jesus Christ out of the picture, and you cut yourself off from God and go to hell with everyone else who doesn’t accept Him. It is impossible to go to heaven without Jesus Christ, likewise, it is impossible to know God the Father personally without Jesus Christ. A man cannot walk across a 2 mile gap between two cliff faces, without building and accepting the bridge which is known as Jesus Christ... take away the bridge, and you fall to your death along with everyone else who doesn’t accept it.

Quite true, we have Jesus and the others don't. But until it is revealed to me on that long hoped for day, I won't try to answer this question definitively.

Very true. :amen: God is not our God. He is the one and only.

So you think that universal salvation could be true? That maybe Jesus is not the only "Way truth and life." That maybe others can come to God without going through Him? I think the Bible completely rejects this line of thought. John 14:6 does it in one verse. But maybe I am putting words into your mouth.

Christian relativists are those whom do not believe in the absolutes in the Bible, naturally. Because I know God personally and believe that the Scriptures are His infallible Word, I have no choice but to believe in absolutes when it comes to salvation. Outside Jesus Christ, there is no salvation... It could be argued that such statements contrary to that in relation to the Holy Scriptures, (by someone who professes to believe in it), would be considered blasphemy.

It depends on which group of Christians you ask.
Some will say that Christians, Muslims and Jews are all children of Abraham and follow the one, true God.
Others will disagree and demonize the Jews and Muslims.

And some people worship Satan. But the Truth is that Jews and Muslims go to hell. If it were the same God, why can't they go to heaven? Because they don't know the true God, because they don't have Jesus Christ.

I don't mean to sound harsh... but this is a topic that needs to be represented bluntly.. especially on Christian forums.

You are putting words into my mouth. I'm nowhere near a universalist. And I think that when people worship a false god, they are either worshipping nothing, or the devil. (or themselves). But I am reluctant to say that a little Muslim girl who never gets let out of the house, who has been virtually brainwashed to think that Christians are evil, and who sincerely seeks to know God - I don't believe she is damned to hell because of where she was born. I believe God gives everyone an equal chance at salvation and that it does not depend on the time or place where you were born. And when she dies and is judged, she just may see in Jesus the Person who she has been longing for her whole life but was never able to really learn about. And then she will run to Him like the prodigal son when he returns home.

What does this passage say to Jews and Muslims today?

John 8

The Children of Abraham

31To the Jews who had believed him, Jesus said, "If you hold to my teaching, you are really my disciples. 32Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free."

33They answered him, "We are Abraham's descendants[b] and have never been slaves of anyone. How can you say that we shall be set free?"

34Jesus replied, "I tell you the truth, everyone who sins is a slave to sin. 35Now a slave has no permanent place in the family, but a son belongs to it forever. 36So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed. 37I know you are Abraham's descendants. Yet you are ready to kill me, because you have no room for my word. 38I am telling you what I have seen in the Father's presence, and you do what you have heard from your father.[c]"

39"Abraham is our father," they answered.

"If you were Abraham's children," said Jesus, "then you would[d] do the things Abraham did. 40As it is, you are determined to kill me, a man who has told you the truth that I heard from God. Abraham did not do such things. 41You are doing the things your own father does."
"We are not illegitimate children," they protested. "The only Father we have is God himself."

The Children of the Devil

42Jesus said to them, "If God were your Father, you would love me, for I came from God and now am here. I have not come on my own; but he sent me. 43Why is my language not clear to you? Because you are unable to hear what I say. 44You belong to your father, the devil, and you want to carry out your father's desire. He was a murderer from the beginning, not holding to the truth, for there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks his native language, for he is a liar and the father of lies. 45Yet because I tell the truth, you do not believe me! 46Can any of you prove me guilty of sin? If I am telling the truth, why don't you believe me? 47He who belongs to God hears what God says. The reason you do not hear is that you do not belong to God."

It seems like to me that it says that they do not worship the same God as the one and only God.
