BTW, Christ's name in English is JESUS. Yahshua is one of several Aramaic transliterations from the 1950s Sacred Name Movement.
Jesus: The English form "Jesus" was not seen nor spoken until after the year 1525,
when Sir William Tyndale a Protestant Reformer from Oxford, England invented it!

Well then all the bible is suspect because English as we know it did not exist as a language until the 1500s.

That doesn't follow logically. I assume you mean that there are alterations in meaning when any document is translated from one language to another. However, it's not guaranteed that this will happen. And of course there are Bible translations that are not in English.

Mohammad picked no one.,..the name of ALLAH was revealed in the Quran ..mohammad didn’t choose the name the name was revealed

Mohammad monotheism is a myth?? Well Jesus offered to you a monotheist religion do you reject it?? Same as the Quran there is monotheism in christianity

Where is the existence of satanic verse??

ALLAH is not a pagan and I will prove It to you now

These are the verse mentioned:

Have you then considered Al-Lat, and Al-'Uzza (two idols of the pagan Arabs)

. And Manat (another idol of the pagan Arabs), the other third?

. Is it for you the males and for Him the females?

. That indeed is a division most unfair!

. They are but names which you have named, you and your fathers, for which Allah has sent down no authority. They follow but a guess and that which they themselves desire, whereas there has surely come to them the Guidance from their Lord

There is no satanic verse in it try to understand the meaning it talks against the idols..can you plz mention the reason as to why you are calling it satanic?? the verses are clear it means that you should not serve the idols as alat and manat as gods because ALLAH didn't gave him the authority to do anything or to be gods..and that is another reason as to why ALLAH and the name of ALLAH are very different from the idols of the pre Islamic Arabs

This is not true ALLAH was revealed in the book of ALLAH the Quran and it was present in the Hebrew books

Mohammad destroyed all idols including (allat) which is not the name of our god neither deriving from it...ALLAH is s pure revelation of the name of God

Al-Kaaba is the direction into which you should pray it has nothing to do with idols...prophet Abraham is the one who built the Kaaba as the house of god unto where you should direct yourself to pray

First Ar-Rahman means the merciful second ALLAH is not the greatest of Idols ALLAH is not an Idol ALLAH is the god of Muslims jjews and Christians

And no again ALLAH was not the god of pagans alat is but ALLAH no ALLAH was revealed with the book of the Quran

YHWH is the name of God ..well prophet Mohammad called us to believe in YHWH in the torah in Jesus in the bible thus he is a true prophet

Prophet Mohammad called us to believe in the god of Abraham of Jesus of Moses and of his own god who is “ALLAH” and not Alat Alllat is an idol...ALLAH is the lord of the universe

Now I have read all your post so here is my answer

The origin of ALLAH’s name

Allah (/ˈælə, ˈɑːlə, əlˈlɑː/;[1][2] Arabic: الله‎, translit. Allāh‎, pronounced [ɑɫ'ɫɑh] ( listen)) is the Arabic word referring to God in Abrahamic religions. In the English language, the word traditionally refers to God in Islam.[3][4][5] The word is thought to be derived by contraction from al-ilāh, which means "the god", and is related to El and Elohim, the Hebrew words for God.[6][7]

The word Allah has been used by Arabic people of different religions since pre-Islamic times.[8] More specifically, it has been used as a term to refer to God by Muslims (both Arab and non-Arab) and Arab Christians. It is now mainly used by Muslims and Arab Christians to refer to God.[9] It is also often, albeit not exclusively, used in this way by Bábists, Bahá'ís, Indonesian and Maltese Christians, and Mizrahi Jews.[10][11][12] Similar usage by Christians and Sikhs in West Malaysia has recently led to political and legal controversies

The etymology of the word Allāh has been discussed extensively by classical Arab philologists.[17] Grammarians of the Basra school regarded is as either formed "spontaneously" (murtajal) or as the definite form of lāh (from the verbal root lyh with the meaning of "lofty" or "hidden").[17] Others held that it was borrowed from Syriac or Hebrew, but most considered it to be derived from a contraction of the Arabic definite article al- "the" and ilāh "deity, god" to al-lāh meaning "the deity", or "the God".[17] The majority of modern scholars subscribe to the latter theory, and view the loanword hypothesis with skepticism.[18]

Cognates of the name "Allāh" exist in other Semitic languages, including Hebrew and Aramaic.[19] The corresponding Aramaic form is Elah (אלה), but its emphatic state is Elaha (אלהא). It is written as ܐܠܗܐ (ʼĔlāhā) in Biblical Aramaic and ܐܲܠܵܗܵܐ (ʼAlâhâ) in Syriac as used by the Assyrian Church, both meaning simply "God".[20] Biblical Hebrew mostly uses the plural (but functional singular) form Elohim (אלהים), but more rarely it also uses the singular form Eloah (אלוהּ).

This is the origin of ALLAH’s name...

ALLAH is the god of Abraham whether you believe in it or not

Here is ALLAH in the Quran:

So when he reached it (the fire), he was called from the right side of the valley, in the blessed place from the tree: "O Musa (Moses)! Verily! I am Allah, the Lord of the 'Alamin (mankind, jinns and all that exists)!(28:30)

Indeed your Lord is Allah, Who created the heavens and the earth in Six Days, and then He Istawa (rose over) the Throne (really in a manner that suits His Majesty). He brings the night as a cover over the day, seeking it rapidly, and (He created) the sun, the moon, the stars subjected to His Command. Surely, His is the Creation and Commandment. Blessed be Allah, the Lord of the 'Alamin (mankind, jinns and all that exists)!

But when he came to it, he was called: "Blessed is whosoever is in the fire, and whosoever is round about it! And glorified be Allah, the Lord of the 'Alamin (mankind, jinns and all that exists).

Allah, it is He Who has made for you the earth as a dwelling place and the sky as a canopy, and has given you shape and made your shapes good (looking) and has provided you with good things. That is Allah, your Lord, then blessed be Allah, the Lord of the 'Alamin (mankind, jinns and all that exists).

Ibrahim in the Quran:

And (remember) when Ibrahim (Abraham) said, "My Lord, make this city (Makkah) a place of security and provide its people with fruits, such of them as believe in Allah and the Last Day." He (Allah) answered: "As for him who disbelieves, I shall leave him in contentment for a while, then I shall compel him to the torment of the Fire, and worst indeed is that destination!"

And (remember) when We made the House (the Ka'bah at Makkah) a place of resort for mankind and a place of safety. And take you (people) the Maqam (place) of Ibrahim (Abraham) [or the stone on which Ibrahim (Abraham) stood while he was building the Ka'bah] as a place of prayer (for some of your prayers, e.g. two Rak'at after the Tawaf of the Ka'bah at Makkah), and We commanded Ibrahim (Abraham) and Isma'il (Ishmael) that they should purify My House (the Ka'bah at Makkah) for those who are circumambulating it, or staying (I'tikaf), or bowing or prostrating themselves (there, in prayer).

And (remember) when Ibrahim (Abraham) and (his son) Isma'il (Ishmael) were raising the foundations of the House (the Ka'bah at Makkah), (saying), "Our Lord! Accept (this service) from us. Verily! You are the All-Hearer, the All-Knower."

And they say, "Be Jews or Christians, then you will be guided." Say (to them, O Muhammad Peace be upon him ), "Nay, (We follow) only the religion of Ibrahim (Abraham), Hanifa [Islamic Monotheism, i.e. to worship none but Allah (Alone)], and he was not of Al-Mushrikun (those who worshipped others along with Allah - see V.2:105)."

Say (O Muslims), "We believe in Allah and that which has been sent down to us and that which has been sent down to Ibrahim (Abraham), Isma'il (Ishmael), Ishaque (Isaac), Ya'qub (Jacob), and to Al-Asbat [the twelve sons of Ya'qub (Jacob)], and that which has been given to Musa (Moses) and 'Iesa (Jesus), and that which has been given to the Prophets from their Lord. We make no distinction between any of them, and to Him we have submitted (in Islam)."

And (remember) when Ibrahim (Abraham) said, "My Lord! Show me how You give life to the dead." He (Allah) said: "Do you not believe?" He [Ibrahim (Abraham)] said: "Yes (I believe), but to be stronger in Faith." He said: "Take four birds, then cause them to incline towards you (then slaughter them, cut them into pieces), and then put a portion of them on every hill, and call them, they will come to you in haste. And know that Allah is All-Mighty, All-Wise

Allah chose Adam, Nuh (Noah), the family of Ibrahim (Abraham) and the family of 'Imran above the 'Alamin (mankind and jinns) (of their times).

Verily, among mankind who have the best claim to Ibrahim (Abraham) are those who followed him, and this Prophet (Muhammad ) and those who have believed (Muslims). And Allah is the Wali (Protector and Helper) of the believers.

Say (O Muhammad ): "We believe in Allah and in what has been sent down to us, and what was sent down to Ibrahim (Abraham), Isma'il (Ishmael), Ishaque (Isaac), Ya'qub (Jacob) and Al-Asbat [the twelve sons of Ya'qub (Jacob)] and what was given to Musa (Moses), 'Iesa (Jesus) and the Prophets from their Lord. We make no distinction between one another among them and to Him (Allah) we have submitted (in Islam)."

Well ALLAH is originally AL ILAH which means god...ALLAH is not an idol ALLAH is the lord of the universe he has nothing to do with the moon the sun or the crescent at all

He is the only god the god of jews Christians Buddhists Muslims wants more?? The god of pagans also

He is the most powerful the supreme being..the being who isn’t in need of anyone

There's a certain forum member who will tell you, allegedly in all sincerity, that Ancient Hebrews spoke Jacobean English.

The name (Jesus) is derived from the Hebrew Y'shu. y'shu," for which in the talmud many Jewish people use as an acronym meaning “may his name be blotted out”.
From the Hebrew name יְהוֹשֻׁעַ (Yehoshu'a) meaning "YAHWEH is salvation". As told in the Old Testament, Joshua was a companion of Moses. He went up Mount Sinai with Moses when he received the Ten Commandments from God, and later he was one of the twelve spies sent into Canaan. After Moses died Joshua succeeded him as leader of the Israelites and he led the conquest of Canaan. His original name was Hoshea.

The name Jesus comes from a Greek translation of the Aramaic short form יֵשׁוּעַ (Yeshu'a), which was the real name of Jesus. As an English name, Joshua has been in use since the Protestant Reformation.

Why yes I have read a few. And I have even gone over to the Middle East a few times and killed some. And then I realized, if some foreign power came to my country, overthrew the government, randomly shot people walking down the street, bombed weddings by mistake, arrested my neighbor and 50 other people because their name was the same as a terrorist and other abuses, would I welcome these “Liberators” with kisses and flowers or would I go all “Red Dawn” on them with the other millions of American gun owners.

But when we do it it's different! I mean, when we kill their innocent civilians, we're doing it with good intentions! That means they're not allowed to get mad or hold a grudge when we kill their family or friends. Frankly, they should be grateful!

There was a time when a post like CherubRams would have been supported and cheered in a Christian forum.. But now things have changed.. The work of the PC educators is bearing fruit....

Darn those PC educators for promoting facts and linguistics! Did you know some have even started to suggest the the earth is round and not flat? Pretty soon people will start to think the sun is some sort of giant ball of super hot gas millions of miles away.

I don't find "for the glory of Christ (or his Church)" anywhere in that otherwise extensive and careful defense.

And we know why that is, don't we?

Zayd believed that the words of Allah needed to be collected in one place and preserved, the Caliph Abu Bakr ordered all people who had written pages of Mohammad’s sayings to compile them in one place. The project was organized and supervised by Zayd bin Thabit. The Quran was put together by a committee of four men headed by Zayd bin Thabit.
