I stood at the feet of his cross//
While he was mocked at while others weeped//
this man that they called jesus laid on the red soacked wood//
yelling for his father to forgive those who mocked for they did not know//
But while the hours went and on so did his life//
I could feel a presents in the ground that made me cry//
While I faught to stand on my feet I stared into his eyes//
and then his eyes of love and life told me everything is going to be alright//
As his body went limp so did the day while it turned to night//
screams could be heard in the night as the earth shooke//
but as the sun came back to the day of birth//
he could be seen lying for whom could see//
but as they took him off that deadfull cross//
I had a sense that he died for a cause//
and that cause is to give everyone life and to cleanse us of our sins//

While he was mocked at while others weeped//
this man that they called jesus laid on the red soacked wood//
yelling for his father to forgive those who mocked for they did not know//
