• CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. When I was a young Christian, I fell in love with my heavenly Father, out under the stars at night. Along with Scripture I was passionately hungry for and reading, God also used the glory of the heavens to introduce Himself to me. With the eyes of my heart, I could look up and see beyond the distant galaxies, and behold the Creator of them all, my eternal Father. At times, I would weep with inexpressible joy at God’s glory being revealed to me from above. He was so close and intimate, and yet, He seemed so majestic and infinite, as He tenderly expressed His love for me, His newly born son, from somewhere on the other side of the universe. The sky became a tent curtain, with little holes in it, and every star was the light of God’s Presence, shining through to me from the other side, as I looked with eyes of longing to see more. Though I could not see the Lord through my physical eyes, the heavens were surely declaring the glory of my Creator to my soul, and O how wonderful it was. It was as though the night sky had become a heavenly choir, singing my favorite song, “Look beyond us to your Maker. Come through our glory, and behold the infinite glory of your Creator. See His majesty! See His splendor!” Shooting stars became the finger of God to me, streaking across the cosmos, as I watched silently in wonder and awe. The aurora borealis spoke to me of the Holy Spirit, in full splendor and majesty, as it streamed across the sky in shimmering bands of light so incredible, that at times I trembled at their majesty. Clouds floating high above beckoned me to come up, and ride on the wings of the wind with them, into the heights, there to see the glorious Lord Jesus Christ, lofty and exalted beyond human imagination. You see, for me in those early years with Christ, and even now, the heavens above have become sacred, for they speak of the Creator of the universe, the God that I have fallen in love with. At special times in the past, when I would gaze into the night sky, I would somehow lose sight of the stars themselves, and all I could see, through tear filled eyes, was the invisible Presence of my Maker, with a “knowing” that was so incredibly real and inconceivable. God and I were communing, Father and son, and enjoying each other’s company. I am convinced that God has indeed made the heavens sacred, meant only to declare His glory, to those who would go searching to find Him, by gazing heavenward. “The Lord has established His throne in the heavens, and His sovereignty rules over all (Ps. 103:19)."

Now, having said all of this, and having set the stage for you to at least understand a little bit of my motivation to address such a topic as “Aliens From Outer Space”, I want to move on and share my concerns about a great deception that’s happening in our day. It has been several hundred years in the making, but of late, Satan’s efforts are getting better, and they seem to be accelerating, as God’s timetable rushes towards the Second Coming of Christ, the Rapture of the Church, and the Day of our Lord Jesus.

It is a venomous lie from the devil, which the great god Science Fiction has concocted, that would insinuate that the heavens are declaring the home of extraterrestrial beings called “aliens”. Christians beware! Satan is up to more than we think he is, with this demonic fabrication. He would have us believe that the heavenlies are where aliens live, and that they are greater in intelligence and power than humans are, who were made in God’s image (Gen. 1:27; 9:6; Ja. 3:9). He would even have us believe that aliens actually are the ones who “seeded” the human race and will one day come to claim what is theirs! [So who created the so-called aliens!?] This is the message of the “Gospel of Science Fiction”, which movies like War of the Worlds, The Day the Earth Stood Still, Close Encounters of a Third Kind, Independence Day, Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull and a host of others, are preaching. Why has Satan done this? Science fiction movies, like the ones mentioned, are not just innocent bystanders in the end times battle going on between God and Satan, heaven and hell, for the souls of mankind. This demonic message that there are aliens in outer space, is a major part of the end times scenario, for Satan’s grand finale on earth, to make good on his arrogant claim, “I will make myself like the Most High (Is. 14:14).”

There are no extraterrestrial beings “in outer space” apart from angels and other heavenly creatures, which our Creator mentions in the Bible. How do I know this? Simple! Because aliens from outer space are not mentioned in the Bible, and that should settle it for any born again believer. If aliens were real, God would have told us about them, but He didn’t. Science Fiction did, but we’ve been lied to! What is real, beyond any shadow of a doubt, is that there are demonic forces in the heavenlies and on the earth, who are in rebellion against God, whose primary goal is to keep the world deceived (Rev. 12:9), and hold as many humans captive as possible, for the purpose of doing the devil’s will, whether they know it or not (2 Tim. 2:26). Even Christians must battle these unseen dark forces, who are actively engaged, 24/7, in brainwashing tactics against every human on planet Earth. The apostle Paul warns Christians, “Our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the powers, against the world forces of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places (Eph. 6:12).” Here’s the truth about aliens from outer space. They don’t exist! They are the invention of man; they are not God-made. It’s alarming just how many people there are, including believers in Christ, who have bought into this lie, who would even argue in defense of these imagined E.T.s, that even science can’t prove exist. Jesus said that in the last days before His coming, believers should watch out that they are not deceived (Matt. 24:4), along with the rest of the world. For surely, aliens are coming, but they will be demons in disguise.

I am not alone in this belief. There are a host of other discerning Christians who have been warning the body of Christ for some time now, such as Dr. Chuck Missler, Mark Eastman, Dave Hunt and Hal Lindsey, who have written about this subject, far more than I have. There are also an increasing number of UFO researchers, such as Dr. Pierre Guerin, John Keel, Stuart Goldman, Douglas James Mahr, and Jacques Vallee, who have come to realize through their extensive research, that aliens display the same kinds of character and behavior as demons do. In his book, Alien Encounters, Dr. Missler, founder of Koinonia Institute, states the following: “What we find in abduction phenomena is that these powerful alien entities take people against their will, paralyze, probe, and inspect them with painful metallic objects. They plant thoughts in the abductees’ minds, perform sadistic sexual acts on them. They impregnate women, then re-abduct them only to 'harvest' the fetuses for the purpose of creating a hybrid race!” Stuart Goldman has been examining the UFO and abduction phenomena for a long time. The following comments are a conclusion from his research: “…the unpleasant fact is, 50,000 people can not be lying. Something is here—probing people, inspecting them, and planting thoughts in their minds, manipulating their bodies—treating them, in a sense, like so many cattle.” And Dr. Pierre Guerin, a well known UFO researcher in the 1960’s and 1970’s, examined the nature and activities of aliens from outer space and concluded, “UFO behavior is more akin to magic than to physics as we know it…the modern UFOnauts and the demons of past days are probably identical.”

The Bible tells us of a one world government that will arise during the 7 year period in history called the Great Tribulation. It will have as its ruler, a man called the Antichrist. He will take the world stage, and Satan will give his authority to this dictator (Rev. 13:4). Surprisingly, a number of prominent modern day Bible teachers, including previously mentioned, Hal Lindsey, Dave Hunt and Dr. Chuck Missler, have publicly stated their view is that this leader, this “son of perdition” will either be an alien or he will boast of alien connections. Again, in Dr. Chuck Missler’s book, “Alien Encounters”, he writes that the notion that the Antichrist would be born by the union of an incubus and a human female, dates back at least several hundreds of years to the Middle Ages, during which time hundreds of recorded accounts of men and women were made, who had allegedly consorted with demonic forces. Such unions were called demoniality, and they were forbidden by the Church and frequently resulted in excommunication, witch trials, and being burned at the stake. Church fathers and theologians like Fr. Ludovicus Maria Sinistrari de Ameno, Cardinal Bellarmine, Suarez, Maluende and R.P. le Brun, all agreed that the Antichrist must be born in this manner, thus fulfilling the prophecy Jesus spoke to Eve, concerning the seed of the serpent (Gen. 3:15). It is likely that Satan will have sex with a human female, much like was portrayed in the movie “Rosemarie’s Baby”, so as to spawn the Antichrist, making this offspring half-demonic and half human. This may be hard for some Christians to believe, because of what Jesus said about marriage in heaven: “For when they rise from the dead, they neither marry, nor are given in marriage, but are like angels in heaven (Mk. 12:25).” By saying this, Jesus wasn’t teaching that angels can’t have sex, nor was our Lord saying that they couldn’t marry. Obviously, holy angels DO NOT marry, but unholy angels seem to be doing a lot things they are not supposed to do, as they rebel against God. This rebellion would even include, having intercourse with earth women. Dr. Missler points out, “The fact is that angels do manifest themselves in physical form throughout the Bible and the annals of history. How they do it is not explained. However, angels, including fallen ones, do have the power to manipulate matter and reshape it into a multitude of forms. Suffice it to say that angels can appear physically, take men by the hand, fight with men, and form eyes, ears, skin, etc., then the manifestation of reproductive organs is also within their capabilities.”

Watchman Nee, in his book Ye Search the Scriptures, published by Christian Fellowship Publishers, states this: “In the time of Genesis 6 the evil spirit entered into a union with men. Angels ought not marry, nevertheless they married the daughters of men and begat the Nephilim. And when the Nephilim appeared on the earth, God decided to destroy them. God wants angels, He wants men, but He does not want the Nephilim. John MacArthur explains this further: “In the same way as Sodom and Gomorrah they indulged in gross immorality, and went after strange flesh.” Went after heteros, went after different flesh. They went after creatures outside their realm. It’s an interesting twist. The men of Sodom lusted after the angels. The angels lusted after men [Jude7]. The men of Sodom wanted to commit sexual sin with angels that appeared in male form. And the angels committed horrendous acts of lust with human flesh [Jude 7]. So the case seems clear. Whatever these angels did, they fell from their lofty position and that could certainly refer to the original fall. They moved out of their normal spiritual domain. They came all the way down to engage in sexual immorality with beings of a different nature. [John MacArthur’s Collection of Sermons, “Apostates, Be Warned Pt. 2”]

The account in Jude of angels who indulged in gross immorality, as Watchman Nee pointed out, is referring to Genesis 6:2,4: “The sons of God saw that the daughters of men were beautiful; and they took wives for themselves, whomever they chose… The Nephilim (fallen ones) were on the earth in those days, and also afterward, when the sons of God came in to the daughters of men, and they bore children to them. Those were the mighty men who were of old, men of renown [giants].” This term “sons of God” in Job 1:6 is translated in the Septuagint as “angels of God”, and it’s used in Job 38:7 to refer to angels. [This is supported, according to Christian Research Institute, as quoted in Alien Encounters, by such noted thinkers as Philo, Josephus, Justin, Ambrose, Apocrypha (Enoch), Delitzsch, Driver, Cassuto, H. Morris, von Rad, Speiser.] Now, having said all of this, it helps us better understand what Jesus was referring to in Luke 17, when He tells us that the coming of the Son of Man will be just like the days of Noah and Lot. There will be extreme violence and corruption on earth, and every thought of man will be on evil continually. But there will also be a return of the Nephilim (as in Noah's day), giant offspring of unholy unions, probably including the Antichrist himself.

We are told by Scripture to put our minds on things that are true and pure, and to set aside all falsehood (Phil. 4:8; Eph. 4:25). We are told to take captive every thought that is a lie and make it obedient to Christ [Truth] (2 Cor. 10:4,5). It is sin for God's people to lust after such fantasy as aliens from outer space. Fontenelle could never have guessed the demonic plot he helped to instigate, that has culminated in the present day craze to rush to the box office, every time another movie about aliens is released. For those believers in Christ who persist in enjoying these types of movies, God has given them fair warning, that a strong delusion is coming our way at the end of days, that will fall on anyone who did not love the truth, but took pleasure in wickedness (2 Thes. 2:11,12). Now is the time for Christians to come away from doctrines of demons, that are presenting a demonic gospel that there are aliens from other planets coming our way.

I say again, the heavens are sacred to God: "'To whom then will you liken Me that I should be his equal?’ says the Holy One. Lift up your eyes on high and see who has created these stars, the One who leads forth their host by number, He calls them all by name; because of the greatness of His might and the strength of His power not one of them is missing (Is. 45:12; 40:25,26).”

Don't like Sci-Fi much, do you?

Just because E.T.s are not mentioned in the Bible,Oh, wait...what did Ezekiel see then...does not preclude them from existence.
Just because they are not in the bible, by no means makes them "demonic"...
There may be "demonic" E.T.s out there, but that does not mean that they are all that way.
that is like saying that "All Christians are Republican and young earthers".

Your reference to Ezekiel is talking about some divine beings, WITH GOD. They are not E.T.'s living on other planets. These beings the prophet spoke of, live with God. Aliens supposedly live on other planets. According to Scripture, the lights in the expanse of the heavens (the moon, stars and other heavenly bodies) are for light for the earth, and for seasons, days and years (Gen. 1:14-18). It's a lie from Satan that God put other intelligent life on inhabitable planets, somewhere in outer space. Be sure you're walking by what the Bible says (if you're a Christian). If you're walking by what science or science fiction says, then you need to "Cast down imaginations that exalt themselves against the knowledge of God," and be discerning. Fiction is not fact. The only absolute inerrant truth is the Bible.

That's right.

Regarding the specific "aliens" that some people claim to have had contact with (such as "the Greys"), if they truly do exist they could be fallen angels or demons. Or they could be real aliens in the sense of material beings from some other star-system. Or, if interstellar travel is physically impossible because of the practical limits which special relativity places upon how fast matter can travel, they could be material beings from our own solar system who evolved or were miraculously created long before humans.

Regarding the possibility of non-demonic intelligent life in outer space, there could be a lot of it. For there are something like 100 billion different galaxies in the universe, each containing something like 100 billion different stars. So even if only one out of 10 billion stars has a planet with intelligent life on it, this would still mean that there are 1 trillion other inhabited planets out there.

If there are other intelligent life-forms on other planets in other star systems, then God created them too, because he's the Creator of everything that exists (John 1:3). Also, there's no reason why God wouldn't deal with them in the same way that he deals with us: some individuals could go to heaven when they die while others could go to hell. Or, some other intelligent life-forms on other planets in other star systems may have never fallen into sin, like Adam and Eve did, so that those other intelligent life-forms may have never become mortal like Adam and Eve did.

Those other, unfallen, intelligent life-forms could be living in sinless, immortal bliss on their planets like Adam and Eve lived in sinless, immortal bliss in the Garden of Eden before they fell into sin. Also, ultimately, the destiny of saved people on this planet isn't to live forever in heaven like ghosts strumming harps on clouds, but to live forever in resurrected, immortal, physical bodies (1 Corinthians 15:52-53, Romans 8:23-25, Philippians 3:21, Luke 24:39) on this earth with God himself after this earth has been completely renewed at some point in the future (Revelation 21).

Just as God has revealed his true religion to this planet, so he could reveal it to all the other inhabited planets in the universe. And as the Creator of all life-forms he has the right to do with all of them whatever he wants (cf. Romans 9:21-23).

Regarding the coming tribulation on this planet, as part of that time will occur a one-two punch of what the world could initially try to interpret as being two different "alien" invasions, the first "aliens" being weird locust-like beings which will suddenly swarm up from the bottomless pit to torment mankind with excruciating stings for five months (Revelation 9:2-10). They will be led by a fallen angel named Abaddon (Revelation 9:11). The world could see the weird locust-like beings coming up from the ground as aliens who had been hibernating for thousands of years in a cavern deep within the earth's crust. The locust-like beings won't kill anyone, but they will make those they sting want to die the pain will be so bad (Revelation 9:5-6).

After the locust-like beings have stung mankind for five months, an army of 200,000,000 weird horse-like beings will come upon the earth and kill a third of mankind (Revelation 9:16-19). This army will be led by four powerful fallen angels who will be released from being bound in the Euphrates (Revelation 9:14-15). If the army of horse-like beings descends from the sky in spaceships, the world could at first see them as a different race of "aliens", but the Antichrist could (falsely) say that they're the main army of YHWH. In fact, the army could be loyal to Lucifer/Satan instead. The four fallen angels could employ the army to make mankind completely desperate before its complete takeover by Lucifer (the dragon) and the Antichrist (the beast) mid-tribulation (Revelation 12:9-13:18).

When the army of 200,000,000 weird horse-like beings starts killing a third of mankind (Revelation 9:16-19), then could also begin the biggest deception ever wrought upon mankind (besides the original one in Eden: Genesis 3). For the Antichrist, who by that time could have managed to have been elected as the President of a Mediterranean Union formed by the joining of the European Union with an Arab Union stretching from Oman to Morocco, could announce to the world that he has sent a mental distress call to (what he could call) "My Father, our Lord Lucifer, to come with his legions of angels and rescue mankind from this murderous army of YHWH".

It's at his point that Lucifer (Satan) and his angels could be cast down out of heaven to the earth for good after losing a war in heaven (Revelation 12:7-9). But instead of coming down as a defeated force, they could descend for all the world to see in beautiful, gleaming spaceships onto the "Champ de Mars" (Mars being the same as Marduk, the chief god of ancient Babylon), the large open area in front of the Eiffel Tower in Paris. And Lucifer, a literal, seven-headed dragon (Revelation 12:3,9) could emerge in great splendor and command his legions of angels to destroy the army of horse-like beings.

Lucifer could then confirm that he has come to rescue mankind because the Antichrist, who he could say is his only-begotten "Son", was able to send out a mental distress call to his "Father" Lucifer in heaven to come to the rescue with his legions of angels (like an Antichrist counterfeit of Matthew 26:53: "Thinkest thou that I cannot now pray to my Father, and he shall presently give me more than twelve legions of angels?"). Lucifer and the Antichrist could then be received wholeheartedly by the world as the saviors of mankind. And the world could be left thinking (mistakenly) that Lucifer and his angels were more powerful than even the main army of YHWH.

Lucifer and the Antichrist, along with the miracle-working False Prophet of the Antichrist, will then deceive the world into actually worshipping Lucifer (the dragon) and the Antichrist (the beast), and a living, speaking image of the Antichrist (Revelation 13:4-16, Revelation 19:20, 2 Thessalonians 2:4, Daniel 11:36). And everyone will be made to receive a mark of the Antichrist on their right hand or forehead, consisting of the name of the Antichrist or the gematrial number of his name (Revelation 13:16-18).

During his worldwide reign, the Antichrist will turn the world against YHWH, speaking terrible things against him (Revelation 13:6, Daniel 11:36). The Antichrist could lie and say that it was YHWH who sent against mankind not only the army of horse-like beings, but all the preceding, natural disasters of the tribulation (Revelation 6:12-14, Revelation 8:7-12), when in fact it could be Lucifer and his fallen angels who did all of that from behind the scenes, so that they could subsequently arrive on the world stage as if they were the good guys come to rescue mankind from YHWH.

They could promise mankind that they will help mankind to defeat YHWH and to escape (what they could call) "YHWH's vile prisonhouse of this material universe, and return to the heavenly, spiritual realm of bliss, the Pleroma, where mankind existed in pure-spirit form from all eternity, before by some mishap mankind fell into YHWH's trap and became enmeshed in the material realm". This lie is what Gnosticism teaches. The Antichrist will be a Gnostic, for he will revile YHWH (Revelation 13:6, Daniel 11:36) and deny that Christ is in the flesh (1 John 4:3). The Antichrist will at the same time also be a Luciferian, for he will bring the world into the worship of Lucifer (Satan) the dragon (Revelation 13:4). The Antichrist could present him to the world as (in his words) "Our Lord Lucifer, the Savior of mankind. He will free us from YHWH's tyranny and lead us back into the Pleroma to live in bliss forever".

After Lucifer and the Antichrist have completely deceived the world and ruled it ruthlessly for 42 months (Revelation 13:4-18), YHWH will send his vials of wrath against the unsaved world (Revelation 16). Those in the church who will still be alive on the earth at the time of the vials, still waiting for Jesus Christ's second coming as a thief (Revelation 16:15), will go into protective chambers which they'll have built for themselves on the earth (Isaiah 26:20), just as Noah and his family went into the protective ark which they had built for themselves on the earth (Genesis 7:7).

When Jesus returns, after the coming tribulation (Matthew 24:29-30) of Revelation chapters 6-18 is over, he will descend bodily from heaven on a white horse (1 Thessalonians 4:16, Revelation 19:7-21, Zechariah 14:3-4, Acts 1:11-12) with all the holy angels (Matthew 25:31, 2 Thessalonians 1:7) for all the world to see (Matthew 24:27,30, Revelation 1:7). Then those in the church will be resurrected or changed in the twinkling of an eye into immortal bodies (1 Thessalonians 4:16, 1 Corinthians 15:21-23,51-53, Revelation 20:4-6). Then the church will be caught up together/gathered together (raptured) (Matthew 24:31, 2 Thessalonians 2:1) only as high as the clouds of the sky to hold a meeting in the air with Jesus (1 Thessalonians 4:17).

At that meeting, Jesus will judge the church (Psalms 50:4-5, cf. Mark 13:27, 2 Corinthians 5:10, Luke 12:45-48) and then marry the church (Revelation 19:7) in the clouds, before the church mounts white horses and descends back down from sky (the first heaven) with Jesus (Revelation 19:14) as he wages war against, and completely defeats, all the armies of the unsaved world (Revelation 19:19,21). Jesus will at that time also defeat the Antichrist himself and the False Prophet (Revelation 19:20), and will have Lucifer bound in the bottomless pit for 1,000 years (Revelation 20:1-3).

Jesus will then make the wedding supper of Revelation 19:9 for the just-resurrected and married church in the earthly Jerusalem (Isaiah 25:6-9, 1 Corinthians 15:54), while the birds will feast on the corpses of the defeated armies of the world (Revelation 19:17-18). Then Jesus and the resurrected and changed church (1 Corinthians 15:51-53), including those in the church who were beheaded by the Antichrist, will rule the surviving nations with a rod of iron for the full 1,000 years of the millennium (Revelation 20:4-6, Revelation 5:10, Revelation 2:26-29, Psalms 2, Matthew 19:28, Luke 22:30).

After the 1,000 years are over, Lucifer will be released from the bottomless pit and by deception bring about the Gog/Magog rebellion, only to be defeated for the last time (Revelation 20:7-10, Ezekiel chapters 38-39). At least seven years after the defeat of the Gog/Magog rebellion (Ezekiel 39:9b), the great white throne judgment will occur, in which all those who hadn't been resurrected and judged at Jesus' return will be resurrected and judged (Revelation 20:11-15). After the great white throne judgment, God will create a new heaven (a new first heaven: a new sky/atmosphere for the earth) and a new earth (a new surface for the earth) (Revelation 21:1, 2 Peter 3:10b,13).

Then God the Father will descend from the third heaven in the literal city of New Jerusalem (Revelation 21:2), the Father's house (John 14:2, Revelation 21:3), and he will dwell on the new earth with Jesus and the church in New Jerusalem (Revelation 21:3). In one area outside the walls of New Jerusalem on the new earth will be the lake of fire (Revelation 22:15, Revelation 21:8) in which all of unsaved humanity will be punished forever in fire and brimstone with Lucifer and his fallen angels (Revelation 20:10,15, Revelation 14:10-11, Matthew 25:41,46, Mark 9:45-46, Isaiah 66:24).

Very true, just because the Bible doesn't mention aliens doesn't mean that they don't exist. We have a book that tells about how sin entered our world and how God enacted our salvation. So our faith doesn't necessarily preclude belief that God created other creatures living in this physical world. He certainly created other sentient but non-human creatures - angels.

On the subject of UFO encounters, there are tons of accounts. From most researchers aggregating the data, it appears that the vast majority of encounters can be thrown away as very easily explainable. However, a small percentage remains which is not explainable by any natural means that we understand. Something definitely seems to be going on. Many of these unexplainable encounters involve abduction. Moreover, they have similarities such as the paralysis, intense fear, as well as a forced sexual aspect.

I tend to wonder why the Bible would be completely silent on a supernatural phenomena that has so captivated our minds, especially one that tends to pull people into belief other than God. It begs the question as to whether or not it is really silent. It's been stated by Missler that many of the abductees have been into occult practices such as channeling. These visitations don't seem to happen to believers but to people who are dabbling with forbidden practices.

So is the Bible really silent on this? I'd say no. I think this all goes back to Genesis 6. I think that these abductions are done by fallen angels who are mixing angelic and human DNA to create hybrids. I think that's what happened in Gen 6 with the Nephelim and that's what's happening now.

I also believe that the aliens on earth today are demons. However, to say that we know for sure there are no other creatures on other planets because the Bible doesn't mention them is a stretch. That's like saying there is no such thing as solar flares on the sun because the Bible doesn't mention them.

Personally, I don't believe there are other creatures out there, but we can't say for sure. God can do whatever he wants and if he wants to inhabit another planet with his creation he can do so without telling us about it.

Other than that, I agree 100% with the opening post.

Another interesting thing I heard from somebody on the radio (I think it was Tom Horn) who was talking about another ancient text that describes the guardians to hell. The guardians were described as "short in stature, grey in colour, with large heads and eyes". That sounds an awful lot like the alien greys. I wish I could remember the text he was referencing.

Just watched Paul recently... all of pop-culture media is driven by the powers of Satan. Paul especially had an anti-Christian message embedded within it. But all of these movies... about magic, aliens, all these 'angels and demons warring' movies, are just there to desensitize us from the spiritual world and think of it all as pixels on a screen, some 'magic trick'.

Here’s the main problem with saying there is intelligent life elsewhere in the universe. Christ died once, for mankind, because of Adam’s sin. God’s Son will not be crucified again, because of someone’s sin, on another planet, or a host of them. Lucifer’s sin, along with his fallen angels and the sin of mankind, has corrupted and defiled, both the earth and the universe, and God will one day destroy it all with fire, “Looking for and hastening the coming of the day of God, because of which the heavens will be destroyed by burning, and the elements will melt with intense heat! But according to His promise we are looking for new heavens and a new earth, in which righteousness dwells.” [also Hebrews 1:10-12] No more corruption, anywhere in creation, hallelujah! Only righteousness. Christ died on Calvary, for the sins of mankind, not even for angels (Heb. 2:5; 1:14), nor aliens. The Bible says so. Then, there’s the Lamb’s book of life. To get in this hallowed book, you would have had to be born again by God, from being a sinner, in the likeness of Adam. “And if anyone’s name was not found written in the book of life, he was thrown into the lake of fire.” (Rev. 20:15) Saved humans and saved aliens will not stand side by side at the judgment seat of Christ. Wicked aliens will not even get to stand at the Great White Throne judgment. Only sinners from earth. And aliens will not be found in hell, because only real people and demons will be cast there. Only redeemed man will be “joint heirs with Christ”, and only redeemed man will be honored to be God the Father’s children in eternity, when He creates “one earth (again), and lives with His children there, right in their midst (Rev. 21:3). It’s amazing Christians believe in aliens, a concoction of science fiction. There is no proof, and yet, they believe on. It’s understandable that the lost will be deceived, but Christians? Aren’t we supposed to lay aside all falsehood, casting down lies, and speaking truth with one another. You can’t do this without believing that the Bible is the complete, inerrant word of God. The idea that there are aliens as life forms on other planets has been completely made up. That’s why the Bible is silent about it. What was God supposed to do, discredit every lie of Satan, by putting it in the Bible? What a lie Satan has brought forth, so that people of earth will one day herald demons as mere aliens, to be embraced as good and acceptable. It will still be worship of demons (1 Cor. 10:20). We must beware… sober minded.

You're probably right luvgzus, but does it really matter? Whether there are aliens from another planet or not, makes no difference to our salvation.

The important thing is that when these "aliens" or demons start telling us that they seeded this planet and that everything is their creation, that we recognize that lie and keep our faith in Jesus. So whether they are demons or aliens from another planet is irrelevant. If they're lying to us, they're lying to us, no matter where they're from.

Our Lord Jesus said to watch out that we're not deceived. Why did He say this, if the power of deception, with signs and wonders and true miracles working for Satan's cause, doesn't matter. Paul speaks of the apostasy, which is a great falling away from following the faith of Jesus Christ. Strong Christians will discern and be on guard. Weak, worldly believers, will not. And then there are the masses we are still trying to reach. The very wide spread belief in aliens, and the unbelievable increase lately, of science fiction movies depicting them, are not innocent bystanders, in the end times struggle for the souls of mankind. My friend, I believe it matters far more than you or I can tell at this time in history. We know so little of Satan's endtimes strategy. He is a great deceiver. In the day great deception, it will be too late then. I don't believe I'll be there when aliens (demons) manifest, but I'm working while I can. Blessings...

intelligent life on other planets in other galaxies, possibly or implied all over the universe............

then scripture foretells the one who created all this comes to earth to rule ,then even the Father 'tabernacles' with mankind.............

so, does this imply that God has abandoned all this other life, favors mankind over all other intelligent life , favors to rule his universe from planet earth ? God is "a respecter of persons" ?

Personally , I believe God's word actually has given an answer as to whether there is or is not life elsewhere

Isa 45:18 For thus saith the LORD that created the heavens; God himself that formed the earth and made it; he hath established it, he created it not in vain, he formed it to be inhabited: I am the LORD; and there is none else.

"thus saith the LORD" I made earth for a certain purpose, it's the place that I have chosen to be INHABITED with life, He FORMED it, He ESTABLISHED it for this purpose.

God/Christ indeed incarnated as a man on this planet (John 1:1,14) and died once for mankind on this planet (Hebrews 10:10), because of Adam’s sin on this planet (Romans 5:19). But what would forbid God incarnating as other intelligent life-forms on other fallen planets and dying once for them as well? Also, what would forbid there being unfallen planets where the intelligent life-forms never fell into sin, and where they live in unfallen bliss just as Adam and Eve did in the Garden of Eden before their fall?

Also, the universe could be so old (some 14 billion years, while the earth could be some 5 billion years old) that many fallen inhabited planets could have already completed their regeneration billions of years ago, with their saved inhabitants having had their sins forgiven by faith in a divine sacrifice on their planet and their bodies already having been resurrected and changed into immortal bodies (which the saved still await on this planet: 1 Corinthians 15:51-53) so that they became like/equal to the angels of God in heaven (cf. Matthew 22:30, Luke 20:36), so that some, or even almost all, of the entities which we call "angels" could have started out as what we would call "aliens" on other planets.

If even some unresurrected humans on this planet can sometimes be called "angels" (in the sense of "messengers", e.g. Luke 7:24's original Greek; Revelation 1:20), why couldn't some redeemed and resurrected "aliens" on other planets be assigned by God to this planet to serve as "angels" (messengers) of God to minister to the unresurrected elect on this planet (cf. Hebrews 1:14)? And once the saved on this planet have been resurrected into immortality and become like/equal to the angels of God in heaven, why couldn't some of them be assigned by God to other fallen planets which have not yet been regenerated, to serve as "angels" (messengers) of God to minister to the unresurrected elect on those planets?

We really need to get away from our pathetic geocentrism. Just as it was pathetic that some believers refused to accept for so long the fact that the earth isn't the physical center of the universe, indeed, isn't even the physical center of our solar system, so it's pathetic that some of us in the church refuse to accept the very real possibility that the earth isn't the spiritual center of the universe either, but could be just one of a trillion inhabited planets in this universe, all filled with worshippers of God. And there could be trillions of other universes outside our own, filled with a googleplex of inhabited planets (or other structures which we can't even imagine). We infinitesimal humans on this one, infinitesimal planet really need to regain some sense of humility (Isaiah 40:15,17, Psalms 8:3-4).

But according to His promise we are looking for new heavens and a new earth, in which righteousness dwells.” [also Hebrews 1:10-12] No more corruption, anywhere in creation, hallelujah! Only righteousness.

Note that Lucifer’s sin, along with his fallen angels and the sin of mankind, may have corrupted and defiled only this planet. There could be other fallen planets with their own Lucifer-type deceivers and their own fallen angels, and their own fallen "aliens", who have corrupted only their own planets.

Regarding 2 Peter 3:12-13 and Hebrews 1:10-12 (and also Revelation 21:1), note that a reference to the "heavens" or "heaven" doesn't have to include the entire universe, but can be used to refer only to the first heavens, that is, only to the skies/the atmosphere of this planet. That's why the same Greek word translated as "heavens" (ouranos: G3772) can be translated simply as the "air" in which the birds fly (e.g. Matthew 6:26, Matthew 8:20, Matthew 13:32), or as the "sky" which can turn red at sunset (Matthew 16:2-3) or can become filled with rainclouds and winds (Luke 12:54,56). So the reference to the "heavens" or "heaven" in 2 Peter 3:12-13, Hebrews 1:10-12 and Revelation 21:1 can be referring to God destroying only the atmosphere of this planet and creating a new atmosphere for it.

Note that Hebrews 2:5 and Hebrews 1:14 don't say that God couldn't have incarnated as other intelligent life-forms on other fallen planets and died for them. All Hebrews 2:5 requires is that this planet, once regenerated, won't be handed over to the current angelic beings, but to saved humans from this planet. The current angelic beings could all have their own home planets.

Wicked aliens will not even get to stand at the Great White Throne judgment. Only sinners from earth. And aliens will not be found in hell, because only real people and demons will be cast there.

Note that this is just more unwarrranted geocentrism. For each fallen planet could have the equivalent of its own book of life, its own Hades, its own lake of fire, its own judgment of the saved, its own great white throne judgment. And some fallen-planets' judgments could have already occurred billions of years ago, while others may not occur for billions of years after the judgments on this planet are completed.

Note that angels are also God's children (Job 1:6). And so aliens could be as well. And God can live in more than one place at a time (Psalms 139:7-10). Regarding Revelation 21:2-3, something similar could already be in place on billions of other inhabited planets. For just as the body of each individual believer on this planet is the tabernacle/the temple of God (1 Corinthians 6:19), so each regenerated planet could have its own tabernacle/holy city of God in which God is reigning simultaneously, just as he can reign in each believer on this planet simultaneously (John 14:23, Ephesians 3:17).

Men going to the moon was once only a concoction of science fiction. But that didn't make going to the moon impossible. Similarly, no science fiction can make the existence of aliens impossible.

Note that the idea of aliens per se hasn't been proven to be a falsehood. And the Bible being silent about something doesn't require that that thing doesn't exist. For example, the Bible is silent about velcro, and yet velcro exists. And nothing that the Bible says makes the existence of aliens impossible.

Note that the mere existence of aliens in no way requires that all aliens must be good and acceptable, just as the mere existence of angels in no way requires that all angels must be good and acceptable. We would have to judge an alien in the same way that we would judge an angel, by the doctrine that he teaches (Galatians 1:8), by his faithfulness to God's Word the Bible (2 Timothy 4:2-4, 1 Timothy 4:1), by his obedience to God. Also, the Bible doesn't say that Satan appears as a good alien, but it does say that he can appear as an angel of light (2 Corinthians 11:14).

So worrying about being deceived only by "aliens" is a dangerous distraction; we need to be careful of being deceived even by angels of light.

Also, it should be pointed out that nothing requires that during the coming tribulation Satan will come to the earth presenting himself as an alien. For Satan the serpentine dragon (Revelation 12:9), also called Leviathan (Isaiah 27:1), could have started out as a dinosaur who was born on this planet some 66 million years ago, near the end the age of the dinosaurs. Over millions of years before his birth, his dinosaur species could have evolved to have consciousness, and his seven-headedness (Revelation 12:3), which could have been a fortuitous (or a miraculous) mutation, could have been greatly heralded by his species as the arrival of a superconsciousness into the world.

As he grew up on the earth as a conscious dinosaur, Leviathan could have come to know and worship God with all his heart. God could have then granted him immortality and taken him into heaven to serve God as a cherubim. Cherubims are a type of angelic creature (Ezekiel 10) which could include individuals shaped like different animals, like how seraphims are a different type of angelic creature (Isaiah 6:2-3) which includes individuals shaped like different animals (Revelation 4:7-8). As a cherubim in heaven, Leviathan could have been assigned to the office of "the morning star", and so been given the name "Lucifer" (which means "the morning star").

After spending some 66 million years in heaven as a very contented cherubim, perhaps even as the greatest angelic creature of all (from this planet), Lucifer could have been assigned by God to go back to earth to be a "covering cherub" over the Garden of Eden (Ezekiel 28:13-14), to watch over that special, local garden and its special, individual humans named Adam and Eve miraculously created by God only some 6,000 years ago (based on the detailed genealogies in the Bible which together give the total number of years from the time of Adam's creation to the building of Solomon's Temple).

It's at this time of the Garden of Eden that God could have also given the as-yet-unfallen Lucifer authority over all the rest of the earth (Luke 4:5-6). But Lucifer could have greatly chafed at his new assignment, seeing it as wholly beneath his dignity. He could have felt like a long-time chief of staff of a U.S. President would feel if he were suddenly assigned by the President to leave his high position in the White House to go baby-sit two pet salamanders in a hothouse in Alaska. From Eden, Lucifer could have repeatedly requested God to let him return to his high position in heaven, only to be refused, until Lucifer in his heart fell into rebellion against God and vowed to himself that eventually he would ascend back into heaven and take rule over all the angelic creatures there regardless of what God wanted (Isaiah 14:13-14). And so the fallen Lucifer became Satan (cf. Luke 10:18), which means the "Adversary".

While still in Eden, as his first act of open rebellion against God, Lucifer/Satan could have decided to deceive Eve into disobeying God (Genesis 3), knowing that this would eventually result in Eve's death (Genesis 2:17). In the future, Satan will deceive the whole world (Revelation 12:9) into worshipping himself (the dragon) and the Antichrist (the beast) (Revelation 13:4,7-8), knowing that this will result in billions of humans ending up in eternal punishment (Revelation 14:9-11), the same eternal punishment he knows he himself will end up in (Revelation 20:10,15, Matthew 25:41,46).

Satan will deceive the whole world into worshipping him after he loses a future (mid-tribulation) war in heaven and is cast down to the earth for good (Revelation 12:7-13:4). But instead of coming down looking defeated, he could descend in a magnificent golden spaceship for all the world to see. The world could at first see him as an alien, come to visit the earth, but he could slither forth from his spaceship and say: "Greetings! Be not alarmed. I assure you that I am no alien, but a fellow earthling, born and raised on this planet millions of years ago. I have come to help you through this terrible tribulation which you are experiencing, and to show you how you might eventually return with me back into a much better, higher realm of existence wholly beyond this awful, material universe".

It's at this point that Satan could foist upon the world un updated version of an ancient Gnostic lie:

"Listen, my fellow earthlings! None of us belong here. We did not start out here but all started out as wholly-spiritual beings, even wholly-divine beings, residing in utter bliss from all eternity in the Pleroma, the higher realm which I will eventually take you back to. During the endless ages of our past existence in the Pleroma, we were not averse to partaking in a great variety of different entertainments. So when Yahweh, who was one of us, yet of greater consciousness than any one of us, announced that he had devised a marvelous new form of entertainment, we were ready to give it a try.

"Yahweh said that he had created a physical universe, which to us was like what you today would call an alternate reality, like the ones you currently create using computers. And he said that we could enter into this universe and interact with all of the amazing physical life-forms and objects within it by temporarily taking upon ourselves physical bodies, which to us was the equivalent of what you today would call an alternate-reality headset, gloves, etc., which some of you wear on your bodies today when you want to wholly immerse yourselves in the alternate realities you create with computers.

"But then Yahweh proposed another aspect to his entertainment which we all most-foolishly accepted: he said that in order to increase the intensity of our experience in his universe, he would use his greater consciousness to hypnotize all of ours so that while we were in his universe we would all think that all we were were physical entities within his material universe; we would completely forget that we were actually wholly-divine beings, and had been from all eternity, dwelling in bliss in the Pleroma.

"When one of us asked Yahweh: 'But what if we don't like our experience in your universe and want to exit it and return here to the Pleroma, how could we ever notify you of our wishes when under your hypnotic spell we will have no knowledge of that option?' Yahweh answered in a very assuring manner that he would be able to instantly extricate any one of us whom he saw was not enjoying his new entertainment. We all believed him because he had not yet shown his true nature to anyone; we had no idea that in his heart he was actually an evil, cruel tyrant who all along had been planning to imprison, enslave and torture all of us within his diabolical device.

"But during my great sufferings on this earth and the great struggles of my consciousness, my spirit, to find a way of escaping them, my consciousness, my spirit, eventually grew in power to be equal to Yahweh's, and so I was able to break myself free from his hypnotic spell and regain all of my divinity. I can show you the way to do the same thing, but you must be willing to join with me now with all of your own consciousnesses, your own spirits; you must be willing to love and worship me now completely, so that the power of all your spirits might become joined with the power of my own, greater spirit and eventually break completely free from Yahweh's hypnotic spell. Then you will regain all of your own, divine spiritual power, like I did, and together we will all defeat Yahweh and escape this vile, material universe and ascend back into the Pleroma and to our bliss as gods, doing what we please forever"
.

The world will actually believe this lie (or something similar to it), because it will be accompanied by the most amazing miracles (e.g. Revelation 13:13) performed by the power of Satan himself (2 Thessalonians 2:9-12).
