They took a lot of the ideas from the comic book series, I don't know if that is what you are talking about though.Father Niko said:Movie was good the game are good, but the books are best.
AvP movie got some of their ideas from the AvP books, I wish they could have done it more like the books. But one thing is good, they have taken too cool and scary creatures and but them into the same world.
Why is it that humans in the Aliens or Predetor movies are so dumb? cant they learn from past experience.

My review isn't quite as dismal, but it was a bit cheezy! I did enjoy the movie because I went in without any expectations. I tried to play the game a long time ago...it gave me a headache! I like the concept of the human race being pawns, I just thing they could have done a classier job of it. It felt too much like Indiana Jones for the genre. It missed the "edge" of both the Alien and Predator series. I actually want to rent it to see it at least "one more time." Call it a guilty pleasure...GL2814 said:I thought it was so corny. I expected to see back breaking, slobber knocking fights between the two creatures, I was wrong. My favorite part were the closing credits.
I don't know about the novels, but the concept of AVP was taken from a series of mini-series published by Dark Horse comics in the 90s.Vash_21 said:Comics? Novels?
