Alias...anyone addicted?

It's not as good this season, but I still have hope!

I think this season degenerated into a bridge between Season 2 and Season 4 - the only problem is we can't see where that will go since we haven't seen Season 4 yet, lol. So much time was taken in explaining things that had happened in the missing two years, or in missions that were for the express purpose of finding evidence related to those two years and anyone connected to that time. Season One and Two were much more Rambaldi- and even better, family-oriented. I love the Jack-Sydney-Irina interaction, and sadly, there was no Irina at all this season. But I am sure that Jack will have a big role in Season 4, because of the season finale.

i'm addicted. i missed last season's finale though... so i didn't have a clue what had happened.

I missed the season finale!!! My mother was over visiting and with my sisters wedding and all the last minute graphics we were doing for her...it was 11:00 before I looked at the clock. It comes on at 10 here.

Would someone please tell me what happened? I'm kicking myself for not popping a video in the recorder at least.

Oh yeah, and as to the comment about women watching the show...my husband watches it. He's not really into T.V. He only likes E.R., C.S.I. and this one. So...maybe it's just that women talk about watching it more than men do that gave you that idea.

abc.com has the best synopsis, I think - if you go to their site, then in the upper right-hand corner, there's a drop down menu of the shows, choose Alias, and on the Alias page, choose (towards the middle of the page on a bar menu) "show guide" and then "episodes" it will be the first one that pops up, "Resurrection."

You can check abc's site also for individual episodes - I hate to say, in case someone from outside the U.S. hasn't got to the end of the season yet - I don't want to spoil any polit lines, lol. Just the last episode recap will tell you enough about what happens to the love triangle, I think.

We are big Alias fans! We have watched from the beginning and love it so much. I can't believe we have to wait so long for season 4. Hopefully they will have reruns this fall.

it's all CIA propaganda=
CIA is always the good guys, anyone who opposes the CIA is bad guy, CIA people are so good, always doing right, always protecting freedom of America (the beacon of freedom and democracy), blah blah blah.

it's highly entertaining propaganda however.

but i do agree the twists and turns are unrealistic and intelligence insulting. the season finale's last scene had me thinking "awww. another thing that has sydney not trusting anyone and sad and crying."

and the way people who were a scene ago in America ten minutes (show-time) are in Peru or something. like how Vaughn who had a collapsed lung in the season finale arrived so fast to save Sydney at the very last second in Russia or something. wow. what a supersonic flight.

and genetic double of Francie? how unrealistic? either this is sped fast forward in time- but hmm, the fashion/car models/companies are the same as now- or the CIA has this amazing superhuman advantage in technology or this technology burst was kept secret from the public- which i highly doubt.

very unrealistic. however, when it comes to the entertainment value and Vaughn, i can't miss an episode.
