I don’t believe in punishing vulnerable women and I have nothing more to add.It does seem that the OP and the Attorney General of Alabama were among the few who felt otherwise about the matter.
I think they are wrong. It does seem that the OP and the Attorney General of Alabama were among the few who felt otherwise about the matter.
More Texas counties are trying to prevent people from using specific roads to get an abortion
Lubbock County is the largest of four Texas counties that have now adopted a version of the measure, which would be enforced through lawsuits filed by private citizens against people who help women obtain abortions.
Awesome!Texas towns try to close roads to abortion-seekers
The highways passing through Amarillo connect Republican-led Texas with New Mexico, Colorado and Kansas, where abortion is still legal.
The proposal in Amarillo would allow private citizens to sue anyone transporting a pregnant woman seeking an abortion, rather than having local authorities enforce the ban.
It's a controversial new legal approach used in other abortion-related legislation that seeks to sidestep potential judicial hurdles.
Shame on him for this malicious speculation."These ordinances were never made to be enforceable. They are meant to sow confusion and to create fear and uncertainty" [Harper Metcalf, of the Amarillo Reproductive Freedom Alliance.]
This means nothing. If someone wants to have an abortion. They will go a different direction. But for people, that want to travel to these areas, might take issues with this. Also, this is what happens, when people vote against their freedoms. Every one pays for this stupidity.Texas towns try to close roads to abortion-seekers

Yet it's unclear how Amarillo's law would actually work, given that it would impede on Americans' rights to free movement.

No one is free to murder; and that's not stupid. This means nothing. If someone wants to have an abortion. They will go a different direction. But for people, that want to travel to these areas, might take issues with this. Also, this is what happens, when people vote against their freedoms. Every one pays for this stupidity.
Unfortunately, in some states it’s still legal and the women don’t have to face any earthly consequences. No one is free to murder; and that's not stupid.
(CLV) Ro 6:23So what will they charge YHVH with for annihilating every man, woman, child, and baby in Jericho? Even pregnant ladies¡
The Alabama Legislature considers abortion to be one of the highest wrongs, and compares it to murder.
I agree with this analysis.
It will work in their favor for the rest of their lives. Most of the people in the world live in poverty; and they continue to choose life.
I won't advocate killing the poor for being poor.Indeed. And many people chose to take vows of poverty by joining various Catholic and Anglican religious orders, such as the Franciscans, and especially the Capuchins (discalced Franciscans), who really emphasize poverty as a way to God.
Amen! I agree 100%.As do I. We need national legislation to ban abortion (the only exception I have seen with any validity is the case of an ectopic pregnancy, which is also non-viable, but to address that issue it would be good if we had a research program to look into the possibility of salvaging ectopic pregnancies, and also to reduce the incidence of miscarriages more generally).
There's other stores and restaurants in those areas. I been to planned parenthood. They have access to material. From places to put babies up for adoption, health access and BC.No one is free to murder; and that's not stupid.
Interesting. There's other stores and restaurants in those areas. I been to planned parenthood. They have access to material. From places to put babies up for adoption, health access and BC.
We weren't talking about stores and restaurants, adoption, health access, BC, nor bird watching. We were talking about abortion. There's other stores and restaurants in those areas. I been to planned parenthood. They have access to material. From places to put babies up for adoption, health access and BC.
Planned Parenthood is the nations largest abortion provider, therefore it must be defunded and shut down.We weren't talking about stores and restaurants, adoption, health access, BC, nor bird watching. We were talking about abortion.
But blocking access to abortion center. Is blocking access to family member in those areas and other things. Which is taking our freedoms away. Next Red states will block off rights to visit women , from Blue States to visit family. We weren't talking about stores and restaurants, adoption, health access, BC, nor bird watching. We were talking about abortion.
