In the text message sent to the Air Force base’s service members, leadership warned “participation with groups such as Turning Point Action could jeopardize their continued service in the U.S. military.”
It has been my concern that the Democrats will continue to use the executive branch agencies, funded by taxpayer money, to promote Democrat candidates. This kind of strong-arming is exactly why I was concerned about additional IRS agents pushed by the Biden administration. Agents can tell conservatives that they may investigate them for years, and suggest things like "that Trump sign on your property isn't doing you any good." We've seen what happened to those individuals at the Capitol who did nothing violent, they were thrown in prison just like the crazies who committed violence. Banana republics use the power of the government, just as the Biden administration does, to quash political opposition. This type of activity is illegal. These government attempts to intimidate citizens must be stopped.

They just don’t understand ….because they are not that bright… the more they try to discredit Trump the bigger backlash they get.

You noticed they had most of the media go silent on the indictments because it was backfiring on them. Everything they try ….they end up “pew” “pew” themselves in the foot ….This thing with the Airforce will be no different.

Following/participating in extreme Right-wing think tanks might reflect negatively on a candidate?

Good

>> Minot Air Force Base Public Affairs provided the following statement to Your News Leader, on behalf of the 5th Bomb Wing:

“Minot Air Force Base is aware that an unofficial message about a local event in the City of Minot was sent in a text message group. The message was based on incorrect data and sent outside of official base messaging platforms. Once the error was identified, base security officials corrected the message traffic to categorize the event as a local political fundraiser, with no security concerns. Further, the updated message communicated there were no issues with military members participating in their personal capacity – in line with their First Amendment rights. All Air Force Airmen have a Constitutional right to freedom of assembly. That said there are some limitations placed on an Airman’s ability to participate in political events in an official capacity. These limitations are set by ethical guidelines in the Code of Federal Regulations in order to maintain the politically neutral stance of the US Military.” <<

That's fantastic. I can sure see why people were concerned about the text. Glad the Air Force fixed it. I wonder who sent the text and why. Is there any investigation into it? There should be.
