CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

If you can post on this forum and if you know how to download and install programs off the internet, you have the skill set you need.Wiffey said:

you're a new user so click on the "new user" button.
create a username (e.g. "WiffeyIsTheAwesomest", or just "Wiffey" if it's not already taken
)download AIM.
install it after downloading it.
It should help you get started to add other people. For example, if you add "CyberSpng" (no quotes) then you add me to your buddy list (as CyberSpng is my AIM name). Then whenever I'm also logged onto AIM it will indicate this. Then we can send messages real time back and forth to each other (instead of like on this forum or in email). On this thread are a bunch of other people's AIM names you can add so that you can use AIM to contact them real time.
