Anyone planning on attending? I'm going to try, but the wife is pregnant and it'll depend on how she's doing.

That is an awesome trio. You should definitely try to make but as you stated it may not be possible.Remus said:Yeah, this will be my first. Ken Ham, Dr. David Menton, and Buddy Davis will be speaking.
Here's the link to it for more information:

What instruments do they play? Are they a jazz or funk group?Project 86 said:That is an awesome trio.
Could you tell me how this bunch could be enlightening on this issue? You should definitely try to make but as you stated it may not be possible.
I have seen and talked to Ken Ham speak in person. I also have watched countless hours of video material from all 3. Also I have read much they have written. They are not just laymen attempting to argue science. Your insulting attitude is very unchristian like and you should really examine your heart before you pass judgement on people you know little about.Tenacious-D said:Could you tell me how this bunch could be enlightening on this issue?
An anatomist, a sculptor and Ken Ham who has no qualifications at all. What are they going to lie, sorry talk about.
Don't you see why these people get no respect. They are laymen attempting to argue science.
Project, could you explain what it is in your opinion they are doing? Are they not laymen on science?Project 86 said:They are not just laymen attempting to argue science.
They are very knowledgable in science, atleast 2 out of the 3 are. The 3rd one is more of musician. They have a very good understanding of what the evolution theory is and how working science punches holes into that theory. They have a great knowledge of the Bible as well. They are very talented speakers and writers. I'm going to see Ken Ham speak again this fall. I look forward to it a great deal. Any Creationist or Evolutionist would benefit from going to a seminar and then talking to Ken Ham or others from AIG after the seminar.Tachocline said:Project, could you explain what it is in your opinion they are doing? Well you can't call yourself a real Aussie then mate!Andy D said:I missed out on seeing AiG when they came to my part of Australia. I have read so much about them and yet never had the opportunity to hear Ken and others speak.
LOL yeah it is kinda stupid that most of our aussie souveniers are made in china. It is a beautiful country and if you ever get the chance to travel more here then you will just be soo amazed.Project 86 said:Well you can't call yourself a real Aussie then mate!
Just kidding! I have been to Austalia myself, only the airport though in Brisbane. Very beautiful country from what I have seen. Even though the Kangaroo pens they sell there, I found out after I took it home, are made in China! What a rip off!![]()
I'll make sure to look you up. One thing I do like about hearing Ken Ham speak is his Aussie accent. Also some good bands have come out of Australia, like Paul Colman Trio.Andy D said:LOL yeah it is kinda stupid that most of our aussie souveniers are made in china. You'll always be learning. I'm sure I"ll be when I'm old and wrinkled. Also it's good to see them speak for yourself and not just accept it because your mom may. If you have the chance you can always get your hands on seminars on DVD as well. A lot of it is what you'll would see if you were there in person. You do miss any updates though they have added to the seminars and the ability to talk to them face to face.Andy D said:Yes, I never got to see the Paul Colman Trio yet either...My friends have. Newsboys was originally from here too. I think once a year about easter AiG run a seminar from a campsite our church supports and I meant to go but I was away interstate when it was on this year. My mum is a huge fan of Ken Ham but I wanted to hear for myself rather than just accept all my parents tell me as fact hehe. I realise now how long it takes to learn the Scriptures as my parents have. Sooo much to learn.
