CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Definately Agree, I hate political correctness, in fact I like to be like Ted Bullpit (Australian comedy show, dead funny) and be as unpolitical correct so that i can annoy people like Germaine Greer heheheheehehheheheheheh (insert devilish laugh here)

Disagree. I would get off the phone if I felt like I was falling asleep. I wouldn't want that person to feel that I didn't think they were important enough to stay awake for.

A: Not that often, no. I find a look that fits "where I'm at" at the moment, and I don't change it until it doesn't fit "where I'm at" anymore.

Because worrying is more akin to an emotional response than a cognitive choice, I'm going to have to disagree. We feel how we feel. Emotions are not like light switches. And believing that we can control them, often leads to much discontent.

Agree. I can, and I do. I usually do put make up on before going out. I'm blonde. And without makeup I look like I'm bald. And, I'm a girl, and enjoy looking like one. But, I don't want to be a slave to the gender bias attitudes of society either (the "if you're a woman, you must do this" attitudes) So, I occasionally will brave the world with a naked face just to assert my freedom to do so.
