Bump.

It's getting down to the wire. I realized last night that he got rid of the blondes!^_^ Now he's got only brunettes left. At any rate, the 20s are a bit pathetic. I have to say the 40s have shown themselves well. Bravo!

I agree. I like the one lady who he went on a date with where they watched a movie. Seems they have a spark. But my suspicion is he will end up choosing a younger girl.

Most likely and simply because of the reproductive issue. Sadly, he'll end up with a vacuous young thing to start a family at the expense of a satisfying relationship with an older woman. I think Jayanna and Mark make a great couple. Instead he'll choose either Amanda or the younger 21 yo.:(

I can't believe that he listened to what some other girl said instead of going to Jayanna & asking her if that was true in the first place. what a moron! So yeah he will probably pick the younger girl. They probably told him to have one younger & older at the end.

I'm so glad he got rid of Jayana. She's such a phoney, a gossip, and unkind. She's so fake & conceited. I'm rooting for Amanda or Megan. I liked the 40s initially, but the only 2 20's I liked are the ones who are left. The rest, I agree, were not very nice girls or the one girl was too weepy all the time. The 40s, though, are turning out to be just as bad as the initial 20somethings that were sent home.

llghoney, Amanda didn't lie, though. Jayana was backbiting & catty, telling her that Mark was like this with all the girls & that it doesn't mean what she thinks it means, etc... Granted, it really is a competition in the end, but there are honorable strategies (such as showing Mark what kind of girl you are, showing him you are kind to the other ladies as well, not being afraid to break out of your shell & do something different than you normally would on one of these dates such as surfing or what have you) , and then there are unhonorable childish things such as the playing games like a little child such as what Jayana did. She was acting exactly the way Amanda said she was & Mark is better off without her, IMHO.

Yeah, I think your right in that she may have been doing that. But even if that is what she was doing I think that for him to just believe what one person says was crazy. As in he should have talked to her imo about it before he just believed what Amanda said.

I disagree. The 20's are very manipulative. Meghan is just too childish. Amanda is the one I think who is trying to fool Mark. She's also aggressive and immature.

What Jayanna said was right though. Amanda thought she was the only one Mark had kissed "like that". She wasn't. He was in fact being lovey dovey with all the women. Amanda thought she was being treated like she was special but she wasn't. I think Mark and Jayanna had the most chemistry. Amanda is trying to manipulate the situation to get what she wants...Mark. I was surprised that he didn't see right through it. But then again, he's a guy and most don't get it.

Bottom line, this whole show was a set-up from the beginning. Sadly, all it's done is pit one generation of women against another. There's no way Mark would have chose a 40 something over a 20 something no matter how dingy, uninteresting or immature they are. The only good thing that came out of the show is that it demonstrated how older women have more substance than the younger ones. Oh, and that you can be beautiful at any age!

You have to remember that the show is HEAVILY edited. I'm sure Amanda said some things that had the ring of truth to Mark which in the end affected who went home. I don't think older women necessarily have any more, or any less, substance than younger women. Women are women, people are people, some have more substance at 12 than others at 50. You're right, though, it does just pit one generation against another, which is sad.

Mark said that he was going to keep Maria, not Megan. I actually think that he was going to send Megan home had it not been for Maria eliminating herself. Megan is a sweet girl but just too immature and childlike. She's also a rather dim bulb and very unworldly. I just don't see Mark choosing someone that naive and ditzy.

I thought it was interesting that for the previews for next week, the voice over stated that we needed to watch because Mark may not pick who everyone thinks he will.....meaning that he may go for Jen. In spite of her being a lot older, she has been a class act throughout most of the show. She hasn't been mean and nasty, etc. and behaves very ladylike and demure. I don't know yet if there's chemistry between the two but I sure don't see any between Mark and Amanda.

Bottom line: he'll choose Amanda. Good news is that this is just a show and after it's all over, Mark can continue his search for someone else.

Perhaps, but wait until you're over 40. I'm sure your perspective will change. If it doesn't, then somethings wrong!;)

Yep, I like Jen too. And she looks pretty darn good to be almost 50! So yah for her!

No, nothing will be wrong, and my views won't change. LOL

Honestly, I have to say that a younger man with an older woman sickens me. That said, I did like quite a few of the over 40 women. I wish they'd had women in their 30s included. Why only 2 sets so far apart in age ? There was one woman who was 39, but that's just not being inclusive to those in their 30s. He may well have found a very classy woman in her 30s as well. I agree, Meghan was too childish still. Late 20s to early 30s would have been a better choice than just a bunch of 20somethings.

I can't remember if I felt the way you do when I was your age, but if I did, I was wrong....and happily so! When you're younger, you think you know everything, including yourself. It isn't until you're older that you realize just how little you knew. I hope you remember this conversation 15 years from now! It goes by sooooo fast!

Why??? I presume that an older man with a younger woman doesn't? Women outlive men by an average of 7 years. Some of the most successful relationships I've seen have been older women and younger men. Some men are mature enough to handle it and some aren't. Who are we to say which is better? If people love each other is what counts, not age. Get over it already!

I already told you that they the show's producers wanted to pit one generation against another. It's pure sensationalism. That's all.

Please don't talk down to me & insult me like that. I'm not saying I know everything, and I'm not a child at 31 years of age. You owe me an apology, friend.
