your child dies at age one - where is your baby going? hell or heaven
This is not going to be a very popular opinion but I'm going to have to say it anyway . . .

A one-year-old child has sinned. The Bible makes it clear that we're all born into sin, and sin is what separates us from God. Jesus Christ is our mediator, but we have to be the one to call on him, and a one-year-old child is incapable of doing that. Logical conclusion: said one-year-old child will be separated from God for eternity. I don't know any other way around that.

Miscarriage, baby dying at birth--I feel those may be a different situation since the child never even had a chance to commit a sin. But then the question arises: where do you draw the line? When is a child "safe" and when isn't he? Is he/she safe at six months? Three months? Only until the first sin is committed? Yet we're all born into sin, aren't we? There are none righteous, after all.

Feel free to disagree if you like, people. No one likes the concept of a baby or small child going to hell.

Let me say this, I have a son who just turned 18. At age 12 he accepted Jesus Christ as his own personal Savior. At age 12, I was no longer held accountable for whatever he did. In the eyes of God, not only is he a man now, but he is now accountable to God, not me. As far as I know, when a child reaches any age where he/she knows right from wrong from a Biblical perspective, that is the age to which they become accountable for their own sins.

But it is also true that anyone who makes it into heaven will only do so by the grace of God.

God Bless

Till all are one.
