Age Gap

My main squeeze is 30 so there isn't a huge age difference between the two of us. It's a comfortable age gap. In my humble opinion, though...at the age of 20 it seems inappropriate to be in a relationship with a 15 year old. My brother is only 13 and I would be appalled if some 18 year old girl wanted to date him.

I know that seems like a very romantic concept; however, it is quite perilous to say "I can't live without *insert name here*". Jesus Christ alone should be sufficient for out peace and contentment in life. God blessing you with a relationship is an added bonus. Love is a choice, not a necessity for life. You don't love someone because you need them. You love someone because you want to.

Well, it's not as large of an age gap as the original poster, but my girlfriend is two and a half years older than me (she'll soon be 22 and I'm 19 until May 27th). But I hardly ever think about it for several reasons: 1)The age we look. Most people assume that I'm at least 2 years older than I am and many people assume she is a two or more years younger than she is. 2)Height difference: She's 5'1" and I'm 6'1" 3) School year difference: Due to several reasons, we are both at the same place in school so it's looking like we'll graduate at the same time (different universities).

So . . . yeah. That's it.

seems like in most age-gap relationships the guy is older, but my gf is older than I am by 7 years, she is 29, I just turned 22. I've never been bothered about the age-gap. I love this woman with all my heart and I could not be happier that we are going to raise a family together. I think relationships depends on personality more than age, if two people are meant to be together, age should not be a barrier. my gf and I are perfectly suited for each other and we both want exactly the same things in life.
