Yeah, ultimately age is just a number, what really matters is how two people connect with each other, sure we can have our guidelines we might try to follow but hopefully not everyone is too strict with those guidelines or they may miss out on a potential awesome relationship just because it doesnt fit their preset criteria...

Nobody younger then me and I would have said at the most ten years older then me until I fell for a guy who's 21 years older then me. I don't make a habit of falling for older men but he's an exception.

Since I am soon to be 30 (*shutters at the thought*), my cut offs are 25-32. I have "dated younger than that but find that most under the age of 23 are just not quite mature enough for me. (disclamer, this is not nessicarily true for everone, so take no offence to it)

I was one of those people that tought that age didn't matter before either. Then I dated a guy who was 14 years older than me . I don't know if I'd do that again. As you can see I'm 24...I think that I'd say no more than 10 years older and prolly no less than 3 or 4 years younger. The maturaty is a really big issue. It all depends on how wonderful he is!

*You're right about her being 40....I read an interview that she did after she turned 40, she said age was a just number!*
