AGAIN, that we heard !

Beloved ones, my brethren, we heard our Lord said :

“Then Jesus spoke to them AGAIN, saying, “I am the light of the world. He who follows Me shall not walk in darkness, but have the light of life.””
‭‭John‬ ‭8:12‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

What Jesus have spoken before ?

This is what we have heard:

“And this is the condemnation, that the light has come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.

For everyone practicing evil hates the light and does not come to the light, lest his deeds should be exposed.

But he who does the truth comes to the light, that his deeds may be clearly seen, that they have been done in God.””
‭‭John‬ ‭3:19-21‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

Paraphrasing:

And this is the condemnation, that Jesus the light has come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.

For everyone practicing evil hates Jesus the light and does not come to Jesus the light, lest his deeds should be exposed.

But he who does the truth comes to Jesus the light, that his deeds may be clearly seen, that they have been done in God.

So Jesus spoke before, that He is the light that has come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil, that this is the condemnation.

But He spoke again, that He is the light of the world, that whoever follow Him shall not walk in darkness, but have the light of life.

Beloved ones, let us hear the word of the truth of the gospel that Jesus spoke, that we may know the grace of God in truth.

For the grace of God in truth, that we may not be condemned, that we may be justified, that we may love the light rather than darkness, that we follow Jesus, that we may not walk in darkness but we walk in light, that we walk in Jesus, that we may have the light of life.

Let everyone who practice righteousness love Jesus the light, and come to the light, that his deeds may be covered,

for he who does the truth comes to the light, that his deeds may be clearly seen, that they have been done in God.

To God the Father be thanksgiving through Christ. Amen

Let us internalize or keep in our hearts, that our hearts may be enlightened by the word of the truth of the gospel:

I heard of the word of the truth of the gospel,that I may know the grace of God in truth, that I may not be condemned, that I may be justified, that I may love the light rather than darkness, that I follow Jesus, that I may not walk in darkness but I walk in light, that I walk in Jesus, that I may have the light of life.

Let me who practice righteousness love Jesus the light, and come to the light, that my deeds may be covered,

for I who do the truth comes to the light, that my deeds may be clearly seen, that they have been done in God.
