  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

The college will have an office with a name like "career, co-op, and placement." Look for it early in your program, because they can help you do the research before you head down a path.

They line up interviews, help you with resumes, run workshops, list co-op opportunities, and keep listings of interested employers.

A great place to do some research is Jobs - The Largest Job Search, Employment & Careers Site -- the department of labor site directs toward it. Once clicking on jobs, it can also lead you toward a salary site (ads in between).

Spend a few minutes every morning playing with ideas. Type in ten things you're interested in, and see how many jobs there are. This site is the best I've seen for jobs people would aspire to.

There are SO many jobs these days that aren't defined by a degree.

I graduated this past May and now I'm starting some pre-graduate work, getting a job, moved and became more involved in my church and community. Right now I'm debating doing graduate school next year or doing volunteer work/going abroad. For now it's trying to learn more about myself and where God wants me to go :)
