  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

wear tight fitting dresses again! (ok that was a joke!)

It will be nice to sleep on my back or stomach again, or even roll over or get off the lounge without grunting!

And it will be nice to go back to the only time I feel sick is when I actually am sick! :)

Mmm. Lying on my back is up there for me too.;)

I was all set to get Eddie to bring me a burger from Burger King after I'd had the baby, but now we've found that there isn't one single Burger King on the whole North Shore! It'll have to be a date instead...maybe we could go into the city.:D

I'm looking forward to (lame as it sounds) sprinting on the cross trainer. Lately I've had to make significant cutbacks in order to keep my heart rate under 140 bpm...It's so hard to resist sprinting!

Yeah, I'm finding it hard to resist that whole exercise thing as well, It's hard enough to keep myself on the lounge as it is :)

Ok, I hope this isn't a really dumb question but is there a reason you can't have burger king now? Is it becuase you are eating healthy? Or is there some other reason?

Because, um, there is no way that I could stop myself eating fast food. Although I am over McDonalds, KFC chips and potato and gravy still call me! (there really needs to be a Homer Simpson drool smiley!)

It'd be a bit of a trip. I don't know how nice it would taste after two and a bit hours in a car.^_^
I'll be coming down to see your baby... (as long as you want me to!!!)

I think i am looking forward to seeing my husband interact with the baby... It's going to be so adorable!!!

I can't wait to have coke, without feeling guilty!!!

Well, I do prefer healthy food esp when pregnant (I'm a bit of a health freak), but the burger I want to have has un-pasteurised mayonnaise on it, so I'm avoiding it because of the listeria risk.;)

In pregnancy my motto is, eat what you can keep down.^_^
I didn't realise that we had unpasturised mayo here, which burger is it?
Maybe I should be checking that out with maccas!

I drink coke all the time! It is really bad I know, I drank it when I was preg with Susie too...

Join a gym and get fit again - hubby has offered to look after the children for me when I want to go to the gym, so I'm going to take him up on it at least 3 times a week!

Go for a walk without feeling like I'm about to give birth.

Be able to eat anything I want without having indigestion anymore!!!

As difficult as it is to walk around and feel like I'm running out of air, I'm really nervous about post partum hormones. I haven't done well in the past, and while I AM taking different supplements and feel differently this pregnancy, I'm still nervous.

Although sleeping on my back sounds Awfully good right now... ;)

Not having to worry about every bite I take whether or not it will "harm the baby". I'm so confused I don't know if I'm coming or going... can I eat this? Do I have to stay away from it?

Though I'm bad, I've had both blue AND feta cheese in the past week. HOw can they expect me to stay away from soft cheese?

AND I've also had salad dressing AND mayo  (though not homemade so I shouldn't have to worry about it being unpasturized :p)

I'm looking forward to not waddling anymore and feeling like my pelvis is gonna seperate.

I'm looking forward to less time in the bathroom from having to pee every 5 mins!

Am I the only one here who sleeps on their belly and back pretty much all the way through pregnancy?

I sleep on my tummy most nights now. It hurts every other way.:(

I'm looking forward to my family coming to visit to see the baby!

Just eat pasteurised soft cheeses. Then there's no guilt.^_^
And as for coke guilt, you are still allowed to have caffeine in pregnancy...it's just recommended to cut back, right?
