  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

Peace in Christ.

When we hear the Word of Truth …the gospel of our salvation….and BELIEVE, we are to come out from among the man-based churches and be separate from them.

We are to follow Him out….leaving it all behind: the church houses: church brothers …sisters…father, mother, children, lands. We are to take up our cross (stake) and follow Him out of them and no longer be established in them.

What do believers have in common with the unbelievers of the truth of the gospel? It is expedient that we follow Him out…to go away from them.

When we do, we shall receive a hundred fold in this time. We shall receive others who will also believe in the Word of Truth.

But with these things, we shall receive PERSECUTIONS also from those we leave behind. But we are to follow the Lamb….remembering to die to sin by not returning evil for their evil, not returning threats for their threats.

Mar 10:28-30 KJV
(28) Then Peter began to say unto him, Lo, we have left all, and have followed thee.
(29) And Jesus answered and said, Verily I say unto you, There is no man that hath left house, or brethren, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands, for my sake, and the gospel's,

(30) But he shall receive an hundredfold now in this time, houses, and brethren, and sisters, and mothers, and children, and lands, with persecutions; and in the world to come eternal life.

After we have been “illuminated” with the Word of Truth, we shall endure a great fight of afflictions from those we leave behind.

We will sometimes be made a “gazingstock” both by reproaches and afflictions which come from them. Sometimes we shall be abused and mistreated in public by the unbelievers of the man-based churches that we will leave behind.

We become companions of them that will also suffer the same afflictions from the man-based churches that they will depart from. We shall gain other believers around this world who will also suffer the same things at the hands of the unbelievers of the man-based churches that we were once partakers of.

Heb 10:32-37
(32) But call to remembrance the former days, in which, after ye were illuminated, ye endured a great fight of afflictions;
(33) Partly, whilst ye were made a gazingstock both by reproaches and afflictions; and partly, whilst ye became companions of them that were so used.

(34) For ye had compassion of me in my bonds, and took joyfully the spoiling of your goods, knowing in yourselves that ye have in heaven a better and an enduring substance.

We must patiently endure their persecutions (not rendering evil for their evil). Do not throw away your confidence; it will be richly rewarded for He that IS COMING shall arrive and will not delay. The presence of the Lord shall come….and with His presence comes His glory and honor and an age-lasting life.

(35) Cast not away therefore your confidence, which hath great recompence of reward.

We need patience that after we have done the will of God, we shall receive the promise of His presence.

(36) For ye have need of patience, that, after ye have done the will of God, ye might receive the promise.

FOR YET A LITTLE WHILE is the period of time that we shall suffer for the belief of the Word of Truth. We shall suffer “a little while” while we shall wait for the arrival of His presence in our mortal bodies….and then we shall appear with Him in glory to those people of the outside world who shall then “see” Him through us.

(37) For yet a little while, and he that IS COMING (present tense) will ARRIVE, and will NOT DELAY.

We are to be sober…..be vigilant in well doing. Our adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walks about, seeking whom he may devour.

The children of the devil (our adversary of the unbelievers of the man-based churches) will react in evil towards us …but we are to resist in the faith knowing the SAME AFFLICTIONS are accomplished in our brothers (in the truth) that are in the world. They had left their man-based churches also and went into the world.

"In this the children of God are revealed, and the children of the devil: whoever does not practice righteousness is not of God, nor is he who does not love his brother.”

1Pe 5:8-11 KJV
(8) Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:

(9) Whom resist stedfast in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren that are in the world.

After we have SUFFFERED A WHILE, He shall make us complete and established and strengthened and settled. His glory shall be revealed in us to this dark world.

(10) But the God of all grace, who hath called us unto his eternal (AGE-LASTING) glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, stablish, strengthen, settle you.
(11) To him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.

This suffering for a “LITTLE WHILE” is for out benefit so that we might be partakers of His holiness. See it as the chastening by the Lord. It will seem grievous while we endure it for a “a FEW days”.

Heb 12:9-11 KJV
(9) Furthermore we have had fathers of our flesh which corrected us, and we gave them reverence: shall we not much rather be in subjection unto the Father of spirits, and live?
(10) For they verily for a few days chastened us after their own pleasure; but he for our profit, that we might be partakers of his holiness.

(11) Now no chastening for the present seemeth to be joyous, but grievous: nevertheless afterward it yieldeth the peaceable fruit of righteousness unto them which are exercised thereby.

“A LITTLE WHILE”…we shall suffer grievous persecutions from the man-based churches we shall leave behind. They will REJOICE in their unrighteousness….having pleasure in their unrighteousness…while we shall “sorrow”….that is, have distress. But our distress shall be turned into joy…for after a little while, He that is coming shall arrive. His presence shall arrive in our mortal bodies.

Joh 16:19-20 KJV
(19) Now Jesus knew that they were desirous to ask him, and said unto them, Do ye enquire among yourselves of that I said, A little while, and ye shall not see me: and again, a little while, and ye shall see me?

(20) Verily, verily, I say unto you, That ye shall weep and lament, but the world shall rejoice: and ye shall be sorrowful, but your sorrow shall be turned into joy.

For He shall “see us” again as we shall receive His presence. A Son shall be born into the world as the Son of man is made manifest in our mortal flesh in this world so that those people of the outside world who are sitting in deep darkness may “see” Him through us and believe. No man can then take away our joy.

Joh 16:21-22 KJV
(21) A woman when she is in travail hath sorrow, because her hour is come: but as soon as she is delivered of the child, she remembereth no more the anguish, for joy that a man is born into the world.

(22) And ye now therefore have sorrow: but I will see you again, and your heart shall rejoice, and your joy no man taketh from you.

To them who by patient endurance in well doing (in the face of the persecutions of the unbelievers in the man-based churches) seek for glory and honor and immortality, AGE-LASTING LIFE. . When He shall appear (in their mortal body), they will appear with Him in glory and honor. They will have an age-lasting life in their mortal bodies for the duration of this age that we are currently living in now.

Rom 2:7
(7) To them who by patient continuance in well doing seek for glory and honour and immortality, eternal life (AGE LASTING LIFE):
