You're absolutely right. We must consciously make a choice and the put a lot of effort to work on ourselves and become the person we're looking for.

Ironically, even some articles giving secular dating advice give advice "turn yourself into the person you're looking for".

Sounds fair IMO.

I am confident God's way for me is the best way. He has created me & all my days are in his Book. There is nothing he can't do. He guides me in all things. Surely I am in error! He is working all things out. I think I would like marriage but he knows me better then me.
