i have been talking to guys on the internet and am pretty sure my parents would flip and i want to be obediant and tell them but if i tell them i may not be allowed at church again because my parents arn't saved and this is how they punish me

CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

um, i suppose that really depends on the relationship b/w parents and children. Parents may not be too stubborn if they understood what the conversations're about?

I don't think you should keep anything from your parents. However, if they don't inquire about your activities on the internet, and they have not forbid you from talking to boys on the internet, I don't see the need to tell them. If they ask about it I would most certainly tell them.
Now if they keep you from going to church as a punishment, you can always use that time to preach to your parents the love of Jesus Christ.
