Hi i was wondering if anyone knew where i can go to get an experienced Christian to talk to on-line, for advice, or whether i can just post things on here

Starting today August 7th, 2024, in order to post in the Married Couples, Courting Couples, or Singles forums, you will not be allowed to post if you have your Marital status designated as private. Announcements will be made in the respective forums as well but please note that if yours is currently listed as Private, you will need to submit a ticket in the Support Area to have yours changed.

Hi,
I've found that posting on CF has lead me into relationships with caring and supportive people who often respond to me with PM (private messages) when I most need to connect with a person privately rather than posting at large. Depending on what you need advice on there are threads for just about everything. I've started a thread or two to meet very specific and personal needs and I have been helped tremendously by them.
I'm not sure what you need advice on... but CF is definitely a great place to get it. You might just want to post what you'd like advice on and see what responses you get and respond via PM to the folks that seem most helpful... or you might want to put your situation in the form of a prayer request in the prayer threads.
My inbox is always open... so if you want to PM me... feel free. I give generally good advice... it's free... and I'm not judgemental. My prayer for you is that you find the advice you are looking for...

If you don't want to air your problems publicly, I would sugest spending some time trying to find some people you can trust here and PM them. The best way to judge of course, is by their fruit. Go to a persons public profile and you can read their posts in other areas to get a better picture of them. If you post out here, you wil get a better dose of godly advice from a variety of different people. It all depends on your comfort level

I'm glad that you have asked about this. There are plenty of wonderful experienced Christians on this site that give out good advice. As Rob said, it all depends upon what you are comfortable with. If you just want to chat with a Christian of the same age, feel free to PM me, I am always wanting to strike up a conversation with a new person.
